All staff and service were great. Got seated fairly quickly. There were many empty tables but not enough staff to seat all of... them. My ribeye was ordered medium rare and was served rare. It also had excessive amount of fat and several areas of hardgristle.My guest ordered a ribeye done medium and it was served med well, to very well. The blooming onion was cooked perfect,served hot and was not greasy. My two sides were a loaded baked potato and a garden salad with Ceasars dressing. The salad wascold crisp and plentiful. The loaded baked potato was served hot medium sized but I guess in Australia they don't know what"loaded' means as the potato had a few sprinkles of the bacon bits chives and sour cream and cheese. I did ask for additionalsour cream. It was brought quickly without any problems. Our waitress was Cristen. The Outback in The Villages offers a lunch soup and salad combo. My wife and I both had the French onion soup and house salads.... Both were delicious and very satisfying. Price is very reasonable. What I would like to rave about is our awesome server Linda.She made the experience amazing. She is most amazing server I have had in a very long time. Linda is extremely friendly andcares about the customer above and beyond. Hopefully, Outback will recognize such an amazing employee. Hands down the best Outback ever. We?ve never had a bad experience here, unlike other similar places in the immediate area.... Duane has been there since day one over 17 years now, and is amazing. The rest of the wait staff has always been equallyamazing. Read more
Paul is the BEST server you could ask for. We had been waiting 20 minutes and no one had even taken a drink order from us. Paul... comes around and we have food and drink within 25 minutes!!! Best server out there! Read more
Duane was excellant Mushrooms for the appetizer was very good. The breading was not too heavy. French onion soup was very... good and pretty sustantial. I had two lobster tails with a baked potato. Very disappointed. The reason we decided on Outback was because of ?they?re proud to serve veterans? promotion. Our server was... so rude and hateful it took my appetite away. I wanted a tall Diet Coke and Shot of Vodka. She made it very clear it was $6.65and she could not give me a tall Diet Coke. First of all I am not stupid, I was not asking for a free shot of vodka. Then whenthe hostess walked by, the server gasped and said to the hostess ?you?re killing me? which communicated to me that I was theproblem.
