Great food, fast friendly service and a welcoming environment. Our meal included salad with balsamic vinegarette, Hawaiian... burger and fried chicken sandwich. We had a blast and Jennie was so helpful and great service. We sat at the bar and had an amazing g breakfast and rolled on out.... Overall, fantastic experience. Service was pleasant prompt. Food was actually really delicious and exceeded my expectations. Fabulous food! Fabulous service! Lots of teamwork had by all. Great place all around. Steak on my steak and hashbrown bowl was... very chewy.. but as soon as I brought it up to the server, my needs were handled and I was very well taken care of. I only havea picture of the greenbeans because we ate everything else so fast and this is actually our 2nd double order of the beans andthey just hit the table - so there ya go. Metro diner is as consistent as it gets. They have some main staples on their menu that are very tempting to get all the time... but they have big menu of amazing plates that are worth to try. The food is great and portions excellent. The friendlycustumer service is a welcome change from your every day run-of-the-mill chain restaurant. What is best for us is the 2.99mimosas everyday and any time and they are hardcore. Read more
Metro Diner is a family favorite. My husband and I came here for lunch and it was absolutely perfect, as usual. We ordered the... carafe of red sangria. My husband had the pot roast, and I went with my favorite, the iron city meatloaf. We also were beinggluttonous so we shared a half order of the fried chicken (which is always a hit). The waiter, I believe his name is Jordan, isalways great. We?ve had him several times and he?s always on point . He gives great recommendations, he?s attentive but not toooverbearing, and he?s friendly. As usual, our food came out pretty quickly, and it was delicious. The pot roast melts in yourmouth. The only thing is that they should pair it with white rice rather than mashed potatoes. Nonetheless, it was so good thatI kept picking off of my husband?s plate. Read more

Being from the South.... I have eaten A LOT of fried chicken BUT nothing compares to the fried chicken at Metro Diner!!! It was... my first time here and they DID NOT disappoint! The absolute best fried chicken.... It was fried to perfection and full offlavor!! The outstanding customer service was a plus and made the experience one to remember.
