Okay, so I'm going to say that most of the reviews that I read were fairly spot on. Kind of overpriced for what you get.... Customer service is absolute zero. The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because the tuna wasn't trash and the sushirice was nice. Several issues with the order. Forgot the tobiko and what was labeled as watermelon radishes on the menu isactually just plain red radishes. First time, last time. Read more
Taste is fine, but portions are small. Very little rice. The person taking the order may be in the wrong profession. He seems to... think he has better things to do. The rudeness worked as a soup bit on Seinfeld, but in real life, where there are otheroptions, it seems a bit ridiculous. I've driven by here several times due to its proximity to the gym. There isn't anything thatsets it apart as far as the menu goes, so with that being said there's no reason to go back. Dined in for a quick dinner on a weeknight. Poke bowls are the name of the game here and the wife ordered one. We had to almost... argue with the owner regarding extra sushi rice. Is it a charge? Happy to pay it. We just like more rice. Put the rice in thebowl, please. I give you money. We met in the middle and got extra rice on the side as there was concern about not being able to"mix" the poke bowl without throwing rice all over the place. Weird concern, but ok. Fish has always been fresh and delicioushere which is a bit strange considering when ordering a poke bowl at a sushi joint sometimes you get the "meh fish" in a pokebowl as opposed to the main event (sushi). Kudos for high quality fish. Toppings are many and when we've ordered online in thepast the order is always accurate. Portions are large and satisfying. Maybe add an "extra rice on the side" in the extrassection of the menu. It was a bit chilly and raining so I opted for the ramen for the first time. Tonkotsu broth was delicious,noodles on point. Chashu was charred well but still chewy. Do not expect a top shelf ramen experience but it's 80% of maybe thebest bowl you could get at a dedicated ramen shop. I would order it again. It's always a bit quiet when we come here but drivepast several closer shops for this one which is about an hour round trip in rush hour traffic in the area.
