Horrible food. They use old oil for everything and it all tastes like ..old oil. We have given them several trys. Never again.
Extremely disappointed with my take out order. The hot and sour soup was bland, the sweet and sour chicken that is supposed to... be crunchy was soggy and luke warm, same with the egg rolls we ordered. The pork fried rice was yellow like Mexican rice andover cooked. Took a chance because I live close, never again. Read more

Place has so many 1 star reviews and I see they ?scam charge also?. (Charged me for untouched fried rice I didn?t want) Had to... be THE WORST Chinese take out I ever had. The rice tasted crunchy as if it wasn?t prepared all the way. I will not ever returnand I left a tip. Never again. First time there. And I ended up throwing 75% of the food into the trash container at home. Terrible food. Read more

We ordered take out around 6:30 p.m. and didn't sit down to eat till 9:30p.m. I was very disappointed. My food was burned and... was given fried shrimp not cleaned. I called the restraunt to request a refund due to the quality and the man I spoke with wasrude and argumentative.Told me because we didn't eat the food right away that is how it was burned. The customer service isterrible and they have lost a once loyal customer that was willing to drive over 30 minutes to buy food from them. Buyersbeware! Read more
I love Chinese food! However when moving to TExas I have found it hard to get really good Chinese food like in California and... on the East coast, China star is not the best place to eat good chinese food. They are not willing to make adjustments base oncustomer input. There food is not that tasty when you have experienced good chinese food. Go to Wasabi wok or First ChineseBBQ. They have authentic and tasty chinese food! And make adjustments for their customers. Read more
