Not from the neighborhood, but just left the medical center and needed food and drink before heading home, I was fasting all day... for bloodwork. The acrylic service station right up against the door deterred me from staying. The message was obvious "noindoor patrons", from the sight of it. I was looking for a quiet, solo sit-down dinner. These are moments I appreciate. For asplit second, I wondered whether or not to order, but despite the service woman that arrived quickly, with the best smile shecould muster, I didn't feel welcomed. So I walked out. It appears to be take-away only. I could understand why, but COVID andthe political climate has changed things that even going out to dinner feels overbearing. It's sad.
