Google showed the place to be open as we're passing through to Dallas, they were actually closed and it was 10 pm after a... birthday party. THEY SAT US DOWN AND SERVED US!!! When we first walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. No detail was overlooked from the artwork to the amazing tile... work. Once we were seated, there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant. Our reservations were dinner for 3 at 7 p.m. When weordered, they had no potatoes. After orders were placed, our server Christie, came back and my meal was also unavailable. Oncethe appetizer was brought to the table, we were informed the salad dressings were not available either. The food that was servedwas not to the standard of the atmosphere of the restaurant. The chicken breast was the best part of all the meals served.Unfortunately, over priced food for the experience. Came to this restaurant from Shreveport LA. Super impressed and definitely did not disappoint. Everyone was super friendly and... catered to anything we needed. Drinks were extremely amazing. Ice cream was super rich and good. Food was extremely delicious.Steak didn't need anything extra, juicy and seasoned. Red snapper was seasoned perfectly. Sweet potatoes tasted like pie. I must say The Dapper At Park Place is the place to be. The atmosphere was calm, low-key, and soulful. It is absolutely a place... dine in and experience the new vibe of Texarkana. They made us feel welcomed and spoiled to the luxurious of the establishment.The owners were active in the service and assisted to make my birthday magnificent. The absolute best atmosphere. Even in the Blue Martini Bar, you don't think of it as a bar but almost as a restaurant in a... restaurant. Different theme. Different menu. Same great atmosphere. All of the walls and ceilings are hand painted. I got thetorta Melanese. The bread is so soft and a positive spin on a typical torta. This is a must try. Got the Vegan cheesecake as adessert. Great hospitality! My family and I were on our way home but stopped for a bite to eat and I?m so glad we did. Their menu is... tailored for just about whatever it is you maybe craving. Whether it?s salad, pasta and or a gourmet meal, The Dapper at ParkPlace has it. The drink menu was even intriguing! Very elegant environment with soft music, candles, plants, and unique walldecor. My family and I will most definitely dine in again. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air and I really neededsomething like this the day my family and I were there.
