Great little place. Great experience from the food, staff and local people. This place has overcome many obstacles in their... history. Unlike many places you have plenty of room to shoot some pool, watch a game and get some vitals. I had the angel wingoysters, crab cakes, gumbo,some drinks and a few other items for 2 people. Waitress was great! Word of caution for the food though! Came in to celebrate my birthday and the Food was absolutely wretched!... Ordered Shrimp po boy and oyster po boy; both were rancid! Ordered Chicken strips instead and those came out and you could seethat they were freezer burnt through the breading! One bite and they were so hard and chewy it wasn?t worth another bite! This is a gem. A funky little hole in the wall type place with great service and great food. I bet there are some fun nights... there for sure. If I'm ever in Texarkana I will be back. My favorite item I ate was the angel fire oysters and raw oysters.Those were both so delicious! Fast and courteous service. Read more
