Food was not as ordered. The Wings had NO sauce at all (ordered Classic Buffalo) and I did NOT receive the sides of Extra Hot... Buffalo Sauce and Celery which I ordered and paid an additional fee. The absence of sauce (and flavor) rendered the Wings blahand certainly not worth the $13.45 that I paid. This was my first time eating Applebee's food and it's doubtful I'll try themagain!! Read more
Their breadsticks are freaking fantastic. Crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. With just the right amount... of garlicky butter stiff on top. And the mashed potatoes are yummy. Not really a lunch kind of place in my opinion. But itworked for us in a pinch. The atmosphere is nice but it's dark and dimly lit like you'd expect for dinner time. Just stopped by for drinks and apps with my date. Had a Sam's Oktoberfest which is always a good go to and for the app we got... the combo platter which was good. Really enjoyed the Buffalo nuggets, er I mean boneless wings- who are we fooling, they're madefrom breast meat not wings- but they are tasty and not overly spicy for people who don't want their mouths on fire. I even likedthe artichoke dip and I'm usually not a fan of it. The prices are good and the bar area was busy for a rainy Wednesday eveningso they're doing something right. It was a sad day when I saw that Applebee's closed in Drum Hill. But fear not, the Tewksbury was another location at a... reasonable distance! I love the sweet asian chile boneless wings here. The service at the bar is also fantastic as well. Tonyis a great server; if you get him at the bar, you're in for a good time. I usually come after 9 pm. I think the half priceappetizers happen 2-5 pm, and 9 pm to close. You can get an order of delicious boneless wings for $6 which is incredible. Thechicken wonton tacos are also nice, and the classic appetizer sampler is something I used to get in the past. Read more
It was an okay visit. We've been to this location many times and it's usually great. They didn't have the drinks we wanted... (issue with soda fountain) and charged us for an adult meal when we ordered a kids. But, theres a CO2 shortage in general andthey rectified the bill issue without any problem. Read more
This Applebee?s Grill is the best one around! I am always leaving happy and full from this place- sometimes with leftovers,... because it?s too good to let go!???? They always have good service staff and the tasty, quality food. Today I went in for achicken and broccoli Alfredo, and oh boy was that good, especially their garlic bread!! Nice ambient with plenty of natural and artificial lighting. Clean all around. Tasty food. We had a ribeye which was a bit over... cooked it was more like medium well rather than a ram medium but it was tasty. Delicious dessert brownie and ice cream combo. Read more
