Heading home from the doctor, I swung through a familiar neighborhood on North Lafayette.. My brother ran a business in that... same area years ago.. One of his favorite jonts was The Coffee Cup Cafe.. It's family atmosphere was very welcoming and mybrother was always quick with a joke or a wink.. Kind of like"Norm" from the old TV series "Cheers"... He made friends with theowners and I'm sure he spent countless hours there, simply because he didn't want to leave.. I was reminded of the void leftafter my brothers passing... I had a stuffed pepper and some potatoes and it was absolutely dreamy as I reflected back intime.. I talked to the owner and he explained that they've been open for 20 years now.. The community should be very proud tosee families come in and sacrifice their services to the public the positive way that this restaurant has.. If I'm ever back inthat direction, you can bet I'm going to pop in for another good home cook meal.. Read more

Very busy when we came in but we only waited a few minutes for a seat. Our waitress was nice and we received our food very... quickly for a group of 5 during Sunday rush. Our meal was tasty and without errors, would definitely recommend. Read more
The food tasted ok. The eggs were cooked a bit too long. Otherwise the waitress was nice. Place looked clean
