Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I have been to many Indian restaurants, so I was concerned that the food... would be bland in this remote location - the food was very nicely spiced! Tried the chicken dosa, which was very good andflavourful. Service was fast and efficient. Definitely go again. Read more
Giving some constructive advice. I tried the butter chicken and was really disappointed. It tastes more like thai curry chicken... than butter chicken. There is no rich yogurt-butter taste, it tasted like a bland coconut milk base. Chicken pieces are like thelittle cubes you find in microwave dinner packs. Colour was weird beige instead of a reddish-orange, and the portion size wassmall. The restaurant looks very cheap inside and needs better interior design. I hate reviewing places poorly but this was needed. I went off by the former reviews and I cannot comprehend how this place has... good ratings. Sure they're friendly, as for the food it was horrendous. For a steep price of $16 for butter chicken as a touristI didn't expect much of it until I recieved this. This is not authentic nor is it delicious. There was no flavour. This can'teven be butter chicken. It was just cooked chicken with some sauce from a can. Something that could be easily made if someonefollowed the directions behind that can. I really wouldn't have minded paying the price but for this. The chicken dumb briyana was very good. There were 4 of us. Everyone including the vegetarian were happy with the food. I guess... the kitchen is limiting. The meals didn't come out together. That would have been nice. However as a twosome we'll go again. Read more

People seem split on this place and the decor and ambiance do it no favours. No music at all so a little uncomfortable, we were... the only customers and the outside looks like you are walking into a long ago closed garage. But we were hungry and had triedworse looking places with good results in urban centers. The bathrooms were atrocious and one was out of service. That's thenegative out of the way. The dosa was delicious and crispy, the paneer and potato were spicy and flavourful and the peanutchutney was also good. I also had the cardamom tea and ended up ordering another one to go. Five stars because they are making ago of it and service was friendly. But it's a contextual five stars. Read more
