Reviews for Bovino Vineyards in Templeton, CA
Epic views, fantastic wine, delicious burgers and dog friendly. Laid back with zero attitude. Go! You won’t regret it.... Albariño was a surprise find; fresh and flavorful. The reds were big but without tasting overly sweet or jammy. Thanks for thegreat tasting, Dean! Read more
I pretty much never give a 5 star review. Bovino earned it. The server and wine hostess Christina was friendly and... knowledgeable. Dean made us feel extra welcome, and shared a lot about the history of the winery and the property it's on. Every single wine we tasted was delicious, even the white wine and I'm typically not a fan of white wine. In fact, it's one oftwo bottles we bought that day (Albarino.) The burgers were juicy without being greasy, and full of flavor. The fries wereperfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and soft inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting and lunch experience. Wewere there Saturday August 5, 2022, but personal circumstances delayed my review. Read more
The wines, views, food and people working there were all great. We went there 2 days in a row and can't wait to go visit again!
Up side:Great wines! Beautiful Tasting Room w indoor & outdoor seating. Fantastic view of the entire area! They also one of the... few to have a real food menu. The burger was out of this world! Down side: Not cheap! Tasting is not done the traditional way.Instead, you pay $20 for a flight. Fee waived w the purchase of 2 or more wines! Read more

Have been to the winery twice and each experience has been remarkable !!! . First time the view just takes your breath away. The... staff makes you feel right at home . The sliders with fries with dipping sauce are a nice surprise.Wine tasting at its best.Second time visiting the winery was greeted with same friendly staff and service. Chef Jeff came out to check on us.And to topit off we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the winery and given a private tour of the winery which is under the tastingroom. You can see the passion and love that Dan has for making wine. We also took a couple of bottles of wine home. A must stopplace if your in Paso !! Read more
Added to the must stop at list when in the area. Super friendly staff, great food/pairings with the food, and awsome... atmosphere/setting! Tasting room/patio deck are cool, but make sure you have a glass at the gazeebo! Its super chill with anorthern rolling hills look and your drinking next to the vines/rabbits/blue jays. Epic! Great place for some wine tasting! Absolutely beautiful view. We had Christina as our server and she was super friendly and very... knowledgable. Had great conversation along with their cheese board and artichoke dip which was an excellent add on to our winetasting. Also met the owner's wife, Brandi who served us a little. Very sweet! They have a cute little patio area right next tosome of the vineyard which was fun to walk through/by. Would recommend 10/10! Read more
