Went back to day to try the hibachi experience and wasn?t disappointed. Service was a bit slow starting out but recovered. We... ordered a sushi roll to start which was very good but slices were too big for one bit making it awkward to eat. Those are myonly complains. Our chef was very entertaining and the food was nothing short of delicious. See pics. Yoshi?s is back open andbetter than ever. Starting off with the atmosphere, the restaurant looks great with bright colors and an open dining area. WhenI walked in I was quickly greeted, seated and my drink order taken. For my entree I ordered the shrimp fried rice with Misosoup. The soup came out first and like Miso soup should be it had a subtle but very good flavor. The star of the show was myshrimp fried rice. I was pleased to see that this restaurant doesn?t feel the need to put peas in their rice. I sampled the ricebefore adding soy sauce and honestly it didn?t need a thing. It was delicious right out of the kitchen. The dish came with agenerous amount of shrimp and they were de-tailed, deveined and cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed my experience here and willbe back with the family to try the hibachi experience. Good food and atmosphere are only 2/3 of the experience though. Yoshi's was closed when we moved here so we were happy to see they reopened. When we walked in, we knew some work had been done... because it was light, white, bright, fresh and beautiful. The art work of various menu items was exceptional. Shane greeted uswith a smile and seated us. We each got a Bento Box and even with a few substitutions it was fresh and delicious with the bestfried rice we have had since we lived in CA! Do they have a few kinks to work out? Yes, but minor and I am sure will get workedout as they go along. Be patient and supportive and speak up if you have an issue so they can address it. We had been to this restaurant the week before and were so delighted and excited but we went back last Saturday 11/3 and were so... disappointed. We had the hibachi again, brought our daughter-in-law for her birthday. They told us it would be an hour waitand seated us at the hibachi. We thought no problem we would order Sushi while we wait. Also, they told us they would send uscomplimentary egg rolls while we wait. We did not get our Sushi until the Hibachi started and neither the egg rolls. They wereout of noodles and did not get that with our Hibachi and they did not bring out the salad until we were paying for our check. It was a horrible experience all around. Read more

Absolute worst experience I've ever had at a hibachi restaurant. The wait was an hour so we ordered sushi and were told we would... be given free egg rolls. The sushi and egg rolls came over an hour later. The chef cooked the protein before the vegetables. Hecracked an egg, left to do a trick for the other table, let the egg burn and then still put it in the rice. Rice was bad, andvegetables were raw. We have searched all over Texas for two years for some decent pho. This is more than decent. It tasted just like the pho we get... in Cali. It?s amazing. I?m so glad have a spot to go to on the regular. Not only is there great food, but the staff made us feelwelcome. We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. I can?t forget to mention the crab rangoons! The food was on point the service was really good? planing on go back. Just one thing.. through out the service all the cook... and cashier talked was about receiving a tip the whole time. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was nice and bright, the food was fresh and delicious. Only complaint was my food... took much longer to come out than my husband's but they did apologize and say there was a mix up in the kitchen. But I have toadmit, the sauce that came with my Tofu Vermicelli dish was totally worth the wait! Read more
