I highly recommend La Riv. It has definitely improved the food and the service. Highly recommend the the short ribs. The... shrimp in the shrimp scampi was over cooked (it was rubbery) but it was welled seasoned. The service was outstanding - Mandywas one of the best servers/waitresses we have had since our move to Texas five years ago. She is very friendly and veryattentive to each of us as customers. Also very efficient and a willingness to listen and learn our dining quirks. If can getMandy for your waitress you are got to have a very enjoyable dining experience. Read more
Good food, really not bad. I taught them how to make an Aperol spritz.. I suggest to have in your menu.. • 3 parts of... Prosecco • 2 parts of Aperol • 1 splash of Seltz or Soda or sparkling mineral water • slice of orange Read more
FREAKING AMAZING! We sat in the wine cellar between here and Bombay. Got the fig and arugula pizza and the cheese board. Both... were jaw droppingly good. The cheese board made the night by itself. Highly recommend. Read more
This restaurant is wonderful. My husband surprised me here last night for a birthday dinner and reserved the biggest table (I... think) in the restaurant, but unfortunately a bunch of people got sick and couldn’t make it. Felt super bad for the server,whose name I unfortunately forgot. She was awesome. Absolutely on top of her game, informative, sweet and fun. The restaurantis in a cute little strip that I had never been to before. Definitely not something I would have expected to find in thisarea. The interior is beautiful and cozy, yet modern. The food is absolutely delicious. We got a charcuterie board, bread,pizza, steak and salmon and ALL of it was on point. I grew up in Europe and in Italy and usually am not impressed byItalian-inspired cuisine in the US, but this place is absolutely worth it. I will definitely be back in the near future. Read more
The food and service was great! It’s pricey but definitely worth it. Drinks were especially good l, haven’t had a gimlet... that good in a while. My wife and I were driving through Temple when we decided to stop at La Riv Every single dish was delicious and very well... prepared. To be honest, this place was way above my expectations and it was a pleasent surprise. Salads were well dressed, themarinara that comes with the ciabata bread was probably the best I ever had, ribeye cooked to perfection and the chicken... Thechicken was moist and well seasoned with an au jus that had a buttery start and warm finish, simply delicious! La Riv is thebest restaurant in Temple. Read more
First time eating this restaurants food. TOGO should not be for every restaurant. The presentation is ok. But taking only 10 min... to drive home left the food a bit on the cool side. I would like to enjoy the atmosphere as a couple. The food is tasting verywell. The staff was very welcoming and have amazing attitudes. Read more
My girlfriends and I stopped by and grabbed lunch and it was delicious. Our server, Raymond, was very knowledgeable and... informative. We split the Tuna Tartare which was very good, I had the Short Rib Pasta and it was delicious. I highly recommendthis place. Their sweet tea was also very good!
