I went here with some friends for food early in the morning. It was almost 3 AM, a lot of people, and from what I could see... there were only three people working. Despite the fact they looked very short staffed, the host and waitress who served us wereboth very friendly, nice, and extremely apologetic about the wait. Giving a one star is kind. Waitress was terrible. Attitude all the way. Didn?t give refill until we asked then we still had to... wait. Food okay absolutely nothing to write home about. We?re done going here. Cracker Barrel is right across the highway. Read more
Waiter was fantastic but, the food was horrible!! My husband who is on the Keto diet, ordered an omelette with cheese, sausage &... bacon. He was disappointed when he discovered the eggs are made with pancake batter. Apparently, he didn't read the fine print.The sausage options are only pork links, no patties. It was extremely warm inside also if they have AC, it wasn't on. Won't bereturning to this IHop. Read more
My grandsons and I ate there yesterday around 7pm. Food was great but the waitress not sure what her problem was. On Monday... evening not too many people there although it took the waitress a while to come order our drinks. Taking our orders wasn?t rudebut certainly not polite. I needed more water and she was no where to be found as when I was ready to check out. Someone elsechecked me out. Also my understanding that kids eat for free from 3 to 11 I believe. It had been a while since my husband and I last visited. The food wasn't the issue. It was just as you'd expect a chain... breakfast place to be, and the pancakes are as great as always. The reason for my low rating was how absolutely filthy it was.The flatware had finger prints all over it, the recently installed plexi guards between booths, and the windows, made me want tothrow up. I'm not sure what good they are doing when they are smeared with fingerprints and grease. The one syrup container wascovered in old drippy syrup from earlier customers, and when our waitress brought the cream for our coffee, the bowl it was inhad food all over the outside of it. It was clear this was not a sanitary place to be dining. Our waitress had far too manytables for one person to maintain adequately. This was a huge disappointment. We will not be back to the IHOP in Temple, TX. Read more
Cleanliness, or lack there of... Judge for yourself, the pictures and lack of concern from the Management staff thru the wait... and clean-up stuff is apparent. God willing, the kitchen is not like this.. Read more
Good food and friendly service. Not a long wait to get our meals. One complaint, their specialty drinks are $3.50 a glass with... NO refills. Use to get as many as you want. Read more
11.27.22 update - down 1 ?! The service was very different this visit and the food wasn't as good. I actually had to send... something back. The midnight service from the previous visit was definitely a more pleasant experience. We went during a shiftchange. It's always akward to have 2 different servers. We been using the pancakes coins that we've earned. Free food is alwaysa plus! He ordered the full stack. I order the gluten friendly order. A full stack was a lot! I can never finish it all. Theywere constant.....not to busy. Future visits are always interesting. Maybe there will be a next time. ???? ***Not 24 hrsduring the week day*** Good visit. Quiet morning. Friendly service.
