It's hard finding a decent "burger" around here specially for my daughter who doesn't eat meat ???????????. But this place had a... delicious vegan/veggie burger and she totally loved it, the portion and the fries. She also love the sauces, primarily the spicyones. And of course I loved it too. It's our first time to try this place and I wasn't so impressed. The quality of our burgers were poor, fries were decent,... seasoned, but I don't think it was worth 29 dollars and 77cents. My daughters both had "The Little Hat" burger meals and I hadthe", Grilled Chicken" meal. My youngest daughter and I had cheese on ours but it wasn't melted to our burgers it was unmelted,like placed on during the making, and my grilled chicken filet was dry tasting. Overall the food was pretty great! This was our first time here. The burgers are made fresh and the fries are well seasoned! The... staff was friendly and they brought our food to our table! The turkey burger tasted amazing and even better when topped withtheir fresh avocado! Overall, a very friendly, clean, and delicious place to eat! I always see that this place packed and thought I would give it a shot. I really wanted to like the place but I'm completely... UNDERWHELMED with the food and service. For starters let me say that I never got the fry sauce that I asked for. The fries wereok I guess, but the seasoning salt was increasingly unpleasant with every bite. The burger was a gooey mess and was ratherplain. I will compare it to the In-n-out double-double for you to understand. It was like a double double but without ANYVEGGIES. Now when I think of a classic burger as they call it at hat creek, I Invision "All the way" as having the basics atleast. My classic hat creek burger had no lettuce, tomato, or pickles. The grilled onions were there but didn't have enough ofthem to be able to taste. The cheese was a joke because it was just the glue holding the onion bits in the burger. I say onionbits because they were diced up so small I almost used a magnifying glass to find them. I did like the bacon on the burger andit was a much needed flavor to add to the nightmare. My bun was a bit over toasted but was still tasty. I did give them 2 starsbecause the friendly person in the drive thru was worth another star. This combined with the one star food gives my rating of 2stars. I would say that if you have family in town from another state you should take them across the street to Freddy's for adelicious steak burger. Your experience will be much more memorable. I usually really like Hat Creek, but today they were off. The drive though line took 25 minutes to get through, the person... taking the order kept getting stuff wrong (glad they repeat it back to you) and when we got our food the order was not quiteright but we had already left and were not going back. My burger tasted good but I didn?t want onions on it but found onions onit. Fries were slightly less than half full and the same with my wife?s tater tots. When my grandkids come to visit this is always sure they ask to go for lunch! We love sorting out on the patio. They have fans... during the summer and heaters during the winter. The playground area is very well kept and the kids really have a blast. Thefood is good, the sweet potatoe fries are the best! You can get a beer here on tap as well!
