Best steakhouse within 200 or more miles. Absolutely delicious. We had the dinner for two which included a 10oz and 6oz filet,... shareable side, we chose the mashed potatoes!, salad or soup we both opted for salads, and a dessert. We went with CremeBrûlée. Everything item was fantastic, service was fantastic and I ordered flowers for my wife, we were celebratinganniversary number 38! Highly recommend! Read more

How have I not been here before. Everything from the service.the amphitheater, the drinks, the food and did I say the service... was beyond my expectations. I came to celebrate my birthday and you didn?t disappoint. Thank you Kristy for your exceptionalservice. I ate the steak before I realized I didn?t take a picture. Read more

Very much worth the visit! Reasonably priced and very methodical dining, with attention to details, such as padded soft tables.... The Greek salad is the best, can?t wait to try the Waldorf next time! The steak was cooked beautifully and the veggie pastasettled into my stomach with no regret. The left over pasta I took home was still warm by the time we got back to the house.Don?t pass this place up!! Save on a list for later if you come across this and can?t go, you?ll be happy you did. Food was good, everything is al a carte, but a variety of choices. Got the seafood fondue and dinner for 2 and it was more than... enough. I had wished the roasted mushrooms had a bit of sauce with it. We were not a fan of where we sat. Right by bathroom, but we could see there was a great atmosphere throughout the rest of the restaurant. Our server was great! Not sure Id go backfor dinner, but would love to try their lunch menu. Absolutely disappointing. The service was good, but the $69 Rib Eye looked and taste the same as the one in Texas Roadhouse. It... was a very thin steak, maybe 1/2" and definitely not a 16oz steak. I know what a 16oz steak looks like, and this was at most a12oz. Real steaks are at least 1 1/2" I thickness. There is no way to correctly cook a thin steak. Read more

Quiet, intimate dining with subdued lighting and friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. If you ask nicely, they usually have roses... in the back in case your regular florist is closed. I had the horseradish crusted halibut: moist flakes of mild white fish witha crispy layer of breadcrumbs in a white sauce. It wasn't hot or spicy at all. I tasted the dill, which I love, more than thehorseradish. The country-style (with lumps and skins) red mashed potatoes were tasty, but the broccoli was my favorite. I couldhave eaten a plate full of just that. Exactly the right balance between crunchy and soft and seasoned to perfection. The hot, fresh rye bread is enough to make anyone a repeat customer. My husband had the blackened red fish with mushroom sauce, cookedperfectly on a bed of rice. Always a delightful experience. Read more

We had reservation at 530, took about 5 minutes for someone to great us in a mostly empty restaurant. We were not pleased with... sitting in the middle as if we were on display, we asked to be moved out of the middle but were told the other tables hadreservations. Which doesn't make much sense since as we also had a reservation and were not just a walk in. Apparently there isa top secret way to reserve by table like you reserving airline seats. The server was friendly after they switched the server. We ordered the wellington app, which was the reason we went there. The Wellington was good but I don't have anything to compareto. I ordered the Aged Ribeye, doubting the title as Aged Ribeye because it doesn't seem to be tender like it has been aged.Possibly 'Aged' is defined as we bought it Sunday. I have ate at 5 star restaurants in Del Mar and somehow the menu is pricedhigher than there. My wife had the chicken it was dry as if they were prepared ahead of dinner service hours ago and just saucedit in hopes to bring some moisture back into. We had the chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert. The chocolate cake is justa simple sheet cake and the ice-cream had ice crystals in it. You know like that ice-cream in your freezer that has been inthere too long. We did bring it up to the waitress which said she'd just opened that container of bluebell, which doesn't helpthe argument much as bluebell is an inexpensive ingredient which could explain the rest of the meal. The Cheesecake was onpoint, would recommend that part of the meal. Well I usually leave high reviews on places unless I wouldn't recommend it. Iwould not recommend this place as a 350.00 bill i would expect top ingredients in the preparation of my meal. Read more
