The food and the staff were awesome! We did not have to wait to be seated. Our waitress Rhonda was amazing! She explained the... Easter specials they were having and the many appetizers they offered! The decor was beautiful, elegant with out making you feellike you did not belong. The table setting was exquisite! Rhonda made sure we felt comfortable with our food selections and paidclose attention to our son whom only eats pizza and burgers. The food and prices were perfect!!! Beautiful décor .A wonderful fine dining restaurant for temple Texas with reasonable prices. A unique menu with delicious... dishes .Lots of fresh options and a wonderful wait staff. Has the city come to town? You're right up there with Houston and Dallas. ...I guess the other guy who thought that the burger's... pricey!!? Tried a lot of things on our visit here. Overall it's decent but not worth the price. Overcooked meats, mediocre sides, very odd... wine list, bright lighting and cheap furniture. It feels like they really tried to recreate a high end steak house but fellconsiderably short. The WORST dining experience in as long as I can remember. Poor food quality, poorly cooked, poor service and exceptionally poor... management. Normally I hesitate to leave a negative review after only one visit, but I will NEVER give these people anotherchance to let me down. Clam chowder tastes lie something out of a can. Server was apathetic, at best. The headline is the overcooked, TOUGH steak. When the server FINALLY made it back to my table (one of only 2 tables that he had? Place was SLOW), Iinformed him that the steak was tough and over cooked. He looked at it and agreed that it was over cooked, and he took itaway. Quite a while later the manager came over to tell me that they buy good steaks. I never challenged that, but said thatmine was tough and over cooked. She AGREED that it was over cooked but said that it ?felt? properly cooked when it came of thegrill. She then told me that she expects a ribeye to have a lot of gristle. She offered me a free desert. I didn?t come infor dessert, I came in for a steak. Her ONLY actual effort to appease me? She reduced the $36 steak to $32? PATHETIC.
