We were on a road trip and randomly decided to pick up supper here while getting gas at the Flying J. We're VERY glad we... did! When we ordered takeout they let us sit on our car and brought it out to us. The service was fast and the server extremelypolite and friendly. The food was great even after we got home with it, everything seasoned and prepared perfectly. The portionsare just right and the prices very reasonable. We were so impressed with both the service and the food that we've alreadyagreed stopping here is a new road trip tradition for us. Went in wanting some tasty fajitas. By the entrance is a sign saying to please wait to be seated. I waited for what seemed an... eternity to be greeted and then seated, in an almost empty restaurant. As I sat down a young man brought me chips and salsawithin seconds. I thought to my self alright let?s get this party started. Nope. Waited another 5-10 minutes before waitressshowed up to take my drink order. Keep in mind restaurant is still almost empty. She was prompt and cordial in getting mydrinks. I went ahead and ordered the Texas fajita plate. This comes with fajitas, chicken fajitas and shrimp. When food wasbrought out presentation was great but that?s about it. It looked good. Fajitas were tough and rubbery. I don?t think they wereeven fajitas maybe some other cut of beef. Chicken was dry. The only highlight of the plate were the shrimp. They were plump andjuicy and took their marinade or seasoning well. I was picking through the plate for the shrimp. They were that good. The platewas also served with a side of rice and beans . Some guacamole, sour cream and lettuce and a tomato. Sides were ok nothingspecial. The only thing here was the tomato , it was all wilted and sad looking. I'm traveling from out of town so I'm not from the area but this place was very pleasant. The waitress (Sarah) and the hostess... are very kind and the service was fast. The food was very good.
