We traveled from South Dakota for a bachelorette party and this by far was the best bar! We weren?t expecting this but they gave... us bottle service on the house because they wanted to make sure we had fun!! The customer service was great, the security wasawesome, and the DJ killed it!! The place is great! Nice employees, and great music! Not a great place to dance though and also the college kids are absolutely... not nice at all! I have met a couple of nice college students but other then that, the college students are not nice! Everysingle person that lives on this planet should always know that you have to be respectful to others and always be nice to othersinstead of pushing, grabbing, hitting and saying bad words to others! Bar refused to serve me because I didn?t ?tip enough? I?m in college just trying to get by and I tip when I can but I?ll don?t... believe I should be refused service and accused of lying right when I arrive. I would give it 0 if I could. The middle agedbartender is the guy the outright disrespected me and didn?t even let me buy a drink saying I ?ordered multiple times tonight?when it was my first drink. I have been going to zuma quite often! I love it and a lot of the staff is really nice! But recently this last Saturday I took... my brother for the first time, everything was going great until it hit midnight and it started getting quite busy. 3 of us weresitting at the table when one of the security guys tapped my brother on the shoulder and told him that he specifically had toleave. So we all got up and left. Why this is upsetting and irritating is he was with me the entire night, At the same tabledoing nothing different than me. Why Was he kicked out? Selective choice? I don?t really get it. If you wanted the table wewould of gotten up and went to the floor instead. As we were leaving the rest of security was tackling a dude to the floor.Seems like you make have bigger problems to deal with then telling people to leave with no explanation when nothing at all hasbeen done. Had a blast. Better get there early. We had great seats but didnt need em because we danced all night. Dont order a 1 drink get... the pitcher its worth it only 12 dollars. It just needs more restrooms.My coworkers and I had a blast. Read more
It saddens me to say this because I have a lot of friends that play at this bar, but I will probably not step foot in this place... for a very long time, if ever again. I will also be sure to tell my friends of my recent experience here. I came in on Tuesdaynight to celebrate my birthday and to see my friend DJ. I had went to the restroom at one point where my girlfriend followedbehind. We were having a conversation and for some odd reason the bathroom attendant, Kenya, got into our conversation and wastalking to us very rude. I told her she was working and needed to stay out of our business and she began to get irate and toldme she can take me outside and was getting in my face. Now, I?ve never been in a fight in my life because I settle my conflictswith words, and this is exactly what I told her. Bar staff came in and told me to leave. I tried to tell them that this woman,who is at work, is trying to fight me, a customer. He didn?t care to hear me out (at this point, I?ll admit that I was beyondupset and probably not as calm as I had been at the beginning of the confrontation with this woman but that is still no reasonfor them to treat me the way they did). I got kicked out so I called to try and speak with the manager but one was not in and Iwas advised to call back the next day (Wednesday is my actual birthday so calling and talking to them on my birthday wasn?tideal, but I wanted this situation to be addressed and called them anyway). I called 5 times Wednesday and never got an answer,and one of those times was right at 10:30AM. I left a voicemail and I still haven?t heard back. This situation was unacceptableand the way I was treated was beyond excusable. Most of the staff are nice but the top security guy (Donnell is what I've been told his name is) has a serious ego problem. I... can only assume that he must be a washed out athlete that peaked in college. I did bottle service there roughly 5-6 weeksstraight and he had a problem with me being 'white' when I'm actually Hebrew/French. He was extremely confrontational and toldme to meet him after his shift so we could 'handle' our situation which I wasn't aware we even had. Completely unacceptable.
