Very delicious and reasonably priced options. I stop here weekly. I?m pretty sure I?ve had everything on the menu. I usually... have my ramen medium spicy and it?s perfect for me. It?s conveniently located. The owner is the chef here. it?s really wholesomeand filling. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. You can?t go wrong with anything you order here. If you?resuper hungry ask for the TanTan it?s delicious it?s a delicious bowl of ramen and a side of rice. Delicious! Amazing, authentic Japanese cuisine!! It was a bit warm in there (85°) for dining in, but the quality of the food... made up for it. I had the Yatai Ramen (medium spice) with a side of fried rice. Everything was perfect! Read more

Menu doesn't offer too many options but their food is great. Recommend the miso ramen, you can request for different spiciness... levels. The place only has a few seats and tables and seems normally busy. Most people seemed to opt for take out. Read more
Food 4/5 Restaurant 1/5 The food is really good. The tonkotsu broth of the yatai ramen looks watery but has a ton of flavor and... is much better than most of the ramen places around Tempe. Sizes are smaller, so the price is ok. Like I like that it?s cheaperbut it?s only because you get less food. (Origami is the absolute best, in Ahwatukee) We got the yatai ramen, with tonkatsu minibowl (should say katsu-don because they put the egg on top, not my favorite but it was actually good, I was surprised), katsucurry mini bowl (also good, curry is packaged of course so it tastes like you expect from a grocery bento in Tokyo), and thetonkatsu with rice plate. The pork cutlet was a bit dry but other than that all of the food was good. Ramen was not overcookedor soggy. The shop itself is tiny, furniture is all wobbly, and it?s dirty. Like, I?m a drop something on the floor and5-second rule type of person ???? but I would not eat anything I ever ?oops?ed here. It has like a 20 year grunge and oil filmmixed with our nice az dust of never being actually cleaned. Someone buy these people a steam cleaner! Soda syrup boxes andhoses just sitting around on the stainless kitchen stand they?re using for the soda dispenser, windows not clean, trash in themop water drain on the floor. They don?t have public restrooms even for customers, but if they did I wouldn?t use it. My partner and I have scoured every ramen joint in Tempe in search of the best ramen-- every time we try a new place, we always... agree that we should have gone to Yatai instead. We probably eat here at least two or three times a month-- every menu item isfreshly made and delicious, and Mark always remembers us by name and has even memorized my personal order. My daughter and I came here today for the first time. We've been so excited to try it. It's extremely DELICIOUS!!! I had the... Veggie Ramen and my daughter had the Tokyo Ramen. The flavors in both were so good. And the pork in the Tokyo was soft with somuch flavor, definitely need to try more menu items. We will be going back very soon.
