I waited to write this review to see if the food quality would improve but it just keeps getting worse. Whataburger USED TO... stand out in fast food for me because my food was normally fresh but lately this location has just gotten worse. My chickenstrips have been old and hard every time I order them. It?s been like this the passed 4 times. It?s like they don?t care anymoreor the people/managers are just lazy to make fresh food so they give you food that?s just been sitting there. No one wants towork all day or rush here on lunch just to get inedible food they paid for and have to throw it away. Please hire people thatwouldn?t sell food they themselves wouldn?t eat. Got to the speaker to order in drivethru no one else at the store not busy at all and the young lady was very rude didn?t listen... to my order got the food wrong the fries were stone cold and tasted like they had been under the lamps for far far too long orthe oil was old and needed to be changed and then wanted to act like she was better than us when she came to the window closingit very quickly each time she had to open it to either take payment or give us our food almost felt like she didn?t want to bethere or didn?t want us to be there. This place offered a free burger and cookie upon downloading the app, I got the coupon on ASU campus and I was the only one to... use it according to the cashier there! So I love whataburger. This is the first time I have ever gotten bad onion rings. But they were so stuffed into the box I think... it just went to mush. This is disgusting the ones on top were perfect and under them was bad and inedible. You lose one starfor this mess up. Read more
First Shirley was so helpful. She chatted with me about the Whataburger App. I misunderstood the FB ad I saw and thought just... for downloading the app I would get a free Whataburger. I didn't screenshot it and so I realized after 5 separate visits then Iearn a free Whataburger. So I ordered a Whataburger and now have 4 more visits until I earn a free food reward. It's a recordsetting 115 today. I am feeling it. Usually this specific Whataburger has me freezing cold after 3 minutes or so. I rode myelectric scooter about 5 minutes away from here after going to the Plasma center (in honor of my mom, rare hemophiliac). I havebeen here for about 20 minutes and still feel hot. There was no line, and the attendant took our order right away. There was a bit of a pause at the window, but the attendent... apologized and completed the transaction. We got a Bacon Avocado Burger and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The burger wasreportedly fine, and I would say the same about the sandwich. Their sauce might be a touch spicy for my tastes, but I wouldhardly count that against them. Aside from that, I would say the sandwich struck a good balance between hardy and durable (whichcan be sonewhat hit or miss with chicken sandwiches). Read more
