Worst food I have bought in Tempe. Recieved 2 tasteless soggy pieces of shrimp with my whole order on a pile of noodles.
Quality/portions for the price is unparalleled for Japanese fast food. A regular lunch spot for me.
Honestly today was my first time there. I ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken and when I received it all the chicken was very dry... as in over cooked and charred. Every bite tasted burnt chicken. The sauce was good on the rice but was very unimpressed with themeal. Read more
I understand we are still going through COVID times and recovery is still in process. I have ordered Large Tonkotsu Ramen with... extra Chasu. What I have received was utterly disappointing. Awful. "Tonkotsu" ramen was dried out noodles re-heated in flavorless broth, with a few pieces of microwaved chicken tossed in.... Grocery store packets of ramen have more flavor. Read more
Tokyo Stop has the *best* spicy bulgogi I've had in more than a decade! Can't tell you how hard I've looked for this dish. The... curry is really good too! The restaurant isn't too big, with only a handful of tables, and it's friendly and cozy for eating in- but taking the large portions home is almost inevitable anyway. I lived in the neighborhood near Toyko stop for years and regularly ate there. For easy affordable Japanese lunches Tokyo Stop... provided delicious every time. They have an excellent Spicy Bulgogi recipe and filling curry and katsu. This place is my firstpick for a lunch stop for years and will be sure to check in whenever Im in Tempe. Read more
