I normally would not complain about my food because we all have bad days and I have had a good experience at this location... before. But today Is an exception. The shakes we ordered tasted burnt. Not "freezer burnt" like the kid suggested when I madehim aware of the issue. Burnt... like the machine was about to catch on fire and transfered the taste to my milkshake. I don'tknow any other way to describe it. So $14 worth of milkshake sat there unable to be consumed without so much as an aplogy. Talkabout leaving a bad taste in your mouth. While I'm here, ill just point out the fries were greasy and not very well seasoned. I'm not from around here, but I have NEVER had such a bad experience with NO attempt whatsoever to make it right. Hmm. I dont know. I live 5 mins away from this joint. Wife went and ordered at the counter a double bacon burger, an order of... chicken strips and a turkey burger. Chicken was great. Better than Raising Canes chicken..Waaay better. Burger was nothingspecial. Bacon was translucent not crispy and overly salty.Not sure if the patties were cooked while she waited or they weresitting on the grill. My strategy for getting a fresh burger is to not go at rush hour. Was a 6 minute drive and should havebeen pretty hot when she got home imho. lettuce and tomato were warm and soggy. Just seems to have little taste much like habitburger. Wife said turkey burger was good. I made the tater tots at home. They were out of honey mustard so lucky me. It's pretty good!! I got the brisket burger and it was super tasty. I got the smash fries as well, I really like the seasoning... they put on them. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's a bit expensive for the portion sizes you get. I was leftjust a little hungry with a double brisket large combo for a little over 20 bucks. Recently moved to the area. First time visiting this location.. information on Google says that they offer curbside pickup.... Nope, not at this one. Not a huge deal, but I was expecting to take advantage of curbside, as that is my preference nowadays.Food was okay, not good enough for me to return anytime soon. Burger patty was slightly salty... but tomato, lettuce and pickleseemed fresh. It's always a plus to not have soggy veggies on a burger, So kudos there. Oh! And it is pretty annoying when theygive you a choice of cheeses and actually forget to give you any at all. I substituted for aged cheddar... got No Cheddar, noamerican.. nada. I concur with several other reviews about the fries. They were in a puddle of oil and soggy. No wonder thewhole side of the bag was soaked in grease by the time I made it home, which was only a 5-minute drive. Smashburger is a small burger shop with high prices. For starters, they do not have meals like some places do. You have to order... your burgers and fries separate. Second of all oh, I'm a vegetarian and to substitute a vegetarian patty into a burger made theburger alone $10 after the upcharge. Third oh, I ordered a large fry to share between me and my children and it definitely doesnot feed two small children. Fourth, I know not all places have vegetarian options, but this is one of the first places I'vebeen to that does not have a grilled cheese for a kids meal. I could order my daughter a regular burger and substitute out aveggie patty, but would cost the adult burger price instead of just upcharging for a veggie patty on a kids burger. Lastly, theyoung girl who took our order was sitting on her phone behind the counter multiple times during our visit. We took some time tolook over the menu to see what they have regarding our dietary restrictions and asked the cooks some questions as she wasunsure. I ordered my food first, and as I was about to turn away she asked other people in line behind us what they wanted toorder instead of my boyfriend who was standing just a few feet behind me ready to order. This was poor customer service as shesaw he would be next in line (I only ordered 1 burger and 1 fry and we came in as a family of 4) and proceeded to ask the peoplebehind us. I ate my food after I came, which was definitely not a burger worth $10, and went somewhere else to get him and ourkids some food. Read more
Burger was ok, not the best. Was very small. Paid over 30.00 for 2 small burgers a small amount of fries and a kids meal. Place... was clean and employee was polite. Food was fast. I will stick with 5 guys and in and out as the value is much better there andI think they are still tastier. Read more
First time to a Smashburger. Showed up right when it opened. It was clean. The employees friendly, but not really helpful. Told... her I've never been how does it work? And the employee didnt really answer. The food came out fast. The burger looked supergood. The chicken one seemed like it was frozen and deep fried. Fries were salty and good. The bathrooms where clean and had ababy changing table, which is a plus. However it is $$$$ for 3 burger (2adults 1 kid) it was $30 and little much for smallburgers. Read more
