Pokiluv is a really cool new Tempe restaurant in the office center just across the bridge over the Salt River on the northside.... It has a nice upscale vibe, cool furniture(sort of a retro Jetsons homage), a nice beer wine bar with a great sushi bowl buffet.I loaded my custom bowl with ahi & marinated tuna, salmon, crab, corn, avocado, brown rice with wasabi royu sauce. Unlike manypoke places my bowl had a generous amount of proteins for under $15 is a great deal for any quality poke bowl place(and I'vebeen to quite a few in the California meccas of LA & San Diego). Service was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable from GM Andy-5stars. My shrimp tempura on the side was hot & delicious. Highly recommended best Poke Bowl I've had in Tempe AZ in 2022. Read more
The fish in both my poke bowl and my boyfriend's roll were flavorless, concerningly warm, and not as fresh as I'd hoped for. The... avocado behind the counter was turning brown by the time we got to the restaurant, and my soda was flat when we paid for ourfood. Out of concern for food safety, I cannot recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone. At least the servers were nice. Read more
I was in the other day and the girl working was completely rude. Asked if I could use the restroom for the public which is crazy... because there was no signage stating that there was no public restroom to talk that off I am a driver delivering food for yourcompany and it sucks that we can't even use the bathroom when we need to go. I feel that I wasn't dressed to her standards shelooked me up and down and was like no I'm not letting this lady use the restroom. That sucks. Covid is well over and I thoughtthat if you have a restaurant delivery drivers are allowed to use the restroom especially when we're delivering your food makingyour company money. Read more
The shrimp didn?t taste fresh - had a lot of brown spots. Very dry and unappetizing poke bowl. Ended up throwing much of it out.
I?m on my 4th visit here and I?m absolutely ADDICTED! The fish is fresh, the toppings and sauces are amazing. And my favorite... part is how they add hot Cheeto dust to the bowl, won?t find that at any other poke spot? perfect for dates as well. Avocado was super brown and not fresh. Fish didn?t taste fresh and gave me stomach problems. Rice was plain, completely... unseasoned and SUPER hot - it basically cooked all the fish by the time I got a chance to take the first bite. Worst poke I?veever had. Best thing is the atmosphere; they also have a cool bar and I had the Japanese whisky, very nice. Employees were very friendly.... Sushi was good enough; will have to come back to try some other rolls and food. Read more
Good shrimp bowl, neat that there is a full bar inside as well. GF options available too
