This food was amazing as usual, the pasta with soup is the way to go. It's a good split between eating a lot of pasta but also... getting a more liquid food to eat. Ratings Out of 5: Atmosphere: 4 Customer service: 5 Food: 3 Value: 4 Read more

My daughter graduated from ASU today & we decided to go to one of our favorite bistros in Tempe. Perfect Pear Bistro never... disappoints, even on a day that more customers were expected. We had a party of 6 today & our server Cat set the bar high. Ourbeverages were filled the entire time. The delicious pear crumble with vanilla ice cream came out as our appetizer as werequested. Made everyone at the table smile as we all took a bite.Everything our group ordered was prepared and deliveredwonderfully. Kudos to all the employees here that make every visit memorable. Read more

A very nice looking place very cute, the ambiance was delightful and the seating was very comfortable. We got the grandmas Mac... as an appetizer and it was so good and gluten free, we also ordered the pesto and goat cheese with gluten free bread. One of myguests has celiac disease and is very sensitive to gluten, his food cannot touch anything that has come into contact withgluten, I tried to explain this to the waitress and she immediately cut me off and said ?so gluten free? which in its barestform was what I was asking for. However I moved on assuming she cut me off because she already had knowledge of his ailment. Allthree of us ordered sandwiches with gluten free bread so we could all share, but when the waitress was asked further about theprep of the food our appetizers she said the bread for our pesto goat cheese was toasted on the same cook tops as the normalbread. So he couldn?t eat that because of the risk of cross contamination. After further explaining his allergy she said theywould toast the bread separately, but when the sandwich came out they hadn?t toasted the bread at all which wasn?t a big deal tomy companion. However by now my companion had no faith in the restaurant to have been careful enough to not make him Ill anddidn?t end up eating his Cuban sandwich. Aside from the allergen portion of this restaurant it was merely ok. The food wasn?tamazing and nothing was to noteworthy, the server was horribly rude and dismissive throughout our visit. She also whines that mycompanion hadn?t eaten his food saying ?well the chefs try their best? Which I?m sure they do but after her ignorance about hiscondition it just wasn?t safe enough to take the risk of being terribly Ill for the rest of the evening and maybe even next day. This restaurant falsely puts on an image of understanding gluten free and people with celiac but in reality there servers at thevery least have no idea what they are talking about. If you have someone with you that has a foo Read more

This is probably one of the best restaurants I?ve been to in a while. I got the chicken club with sweet potatoes fries, which... was delicious, and the design and music selection were both great too. Outside our window was a beautiful pink flower bush, which topped it all off. Coming here was a great way to start off my trip to the Grand Canyon. Read more

Everything on the menu of the Perfect Pear Bistro looked great. We were seated outside with our large group of 10 and enjoyed... some cooling mist while we dined in the partial shade. Personally, we enjoyed the butternut squash and falafel tacos, and thesouthwest black beans on the side were a nice accompaniment. Everyone at our table enjoyed their variety of meals as well. Idon?t think we could?ve gone wrong with anything on the menu. The service was quick and efficient, even for a large group. Read more

We are moving to the area and we?re looking for a new place to have lunch and found this gem. We ordered mushroom melt grilled... cheese sandwich with fries and asparagus soup. Delish and amazing quality. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Veryfamily oriented modern bistro fusion that offers food for all. They have great vegetarian menu including protein. I wouldrecommend to everyone and would be back as I would like to try their other menu items as well. Read more

TL;DR: Super cute place with a delicious looking menu, but the service and execution was lacking. Wouldn't recommend. I wanted... to love this place so much! The Perfect Pear Bistro is such a beautiful space and has an incredible menu. We wanted to tryEVERYTHING. The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived and we were seated inside right away. After being seated, we didn'tinteract with anyone for about 20 minutes. We both ordered the French Pantry sandwich with fries. We didn't see anyone again forabout 30 minutes when our waiter asked if we both ordered fries. In total, we waited about an hour to receive our food. Thesandwiches weren't great just because we weren't a fan of the mustard that was used and it seemed to overwhelm the sandwich, butthe sweet potato fries were incredible! When we received our bill, it wasn't itemized and was almost double what we had expectedto pay. After requesting an itemized bill, we found that we were charged for several things we didn't order. It was quicklyrectified by staff once notified! Overall, the amount of time that we had to wait for service, our very few interactions withstaff in general, the food being not to our taste, and then a billing issue turned us off to this restaurant. I wouldn'trecommend it and the person I came with won't ever go back. I may in hopes that this visit was a fluke. Read more

literally LOVE this place. Food is always amazing & in huge portions, we always end up with leftovers to take home. Drinks are... strong and unique, definitely worth the money- & happy hour prices are great! Our server Mattie was very attentive and polite. Read more
