This was my first time at Netta Cheta's, and I will be back. My bf and I came in for breakfast on Sunday morning, around 10am.... It was decently busy, but we did not have to wait for a table for 2. The combo of sweet and savory in the waffle benedict wasdelicious, the green chile pork smothered burritto was so big and flavorful, and both the potato pancake and home fries werealso tasty! Even the coffee was delicious - it has a chocolately/nutty flavor, and it came in a fun mug. They have a randomcollection of coffee mugs, and no two are alike. The service was friendly and efficient. So glad we finally stopped in! Did a semi-late breakfast Saturday and wow, walking up to the joint you might not expect it to... look like it did inside but dang, what a surprise. I mean I wasn't expecting a dive or anything, I was just surprised by theinterior decor. It was wonderful! Wide open, spread out, a long bar on one side the probably fits a dozen people side-to-side,opposite that they had a projector (they host events apparently). One thing that really stood out was the large empty areaimmediately inside the door. If a crowd gathers because they get busy, the crowd won't be brushing or bumping up against anypatrons because of the wide open space. A great idea other restaurateurs should mimic. The staff? They were all on happy pills.I mean that in a good way, as a compliment. The greeter had a cheery smile and very welcoming "hello!" as we walked in, the twogals at the bar were chatting it up with the five people seated in front of them. We were seated immediately and within secondsour server, Kat, was at our table asking after our drink choices, also with a smile and cheery disposition. Next time I go I amdefinitely getting one of their adult beverages; maybe the root beer float, I think it had rum chatta. Anyway, the menu was laidout well and easy to read. If I recall correctly the breakfast and lunch menu items are served all day. We ordered the breakfastsandwich plus the ham steak and eggs. The breakfast sandwich (w/ sausage) was just the right size that there were noleftovers. After placing our order with Kat, a few minutes later she brought a small bowl of complementary doughnuts. Can here on a Saturday morning with my family. We were craving something hardy, sweet and savory and we couldn?t have gone to a... better place. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the hash skillet. It came out perfect temperature and presentation. The vibewas relaxing and inviting. Not to mention they have a full bar. Friendly staff and the owners gladly checked on each tablemaking it even more of a friendly environment. Highly recommend! Read more
Super nice staff, warm welcome on a cloudy rainy day. Couldn't be more perfect. Sat at the bar top for this first visit. I... wanted the opportunity to chat with the bartender and I actually got the chance to speak with 2 servers, a person from thekitchen staff along with other customers. Clean and organized environment, home like feeling for a large place. Music playing inthe background at perfect volume. 2 TV's showing local news and sports. Ordered pastrami sandwich with pepper jack cheese(exchanged for swiss) and for my side, I said surprise me. Food arrived at perfect temperature and my surprise side was tatertots. The pastrami was piled high and it was delicious with the pepper jack cheese. The frozen mimosa was spot on! This willbe more than perfect come summer. For a restaurant that has been open less than 1 week, I feel they did a great job withservice, establishment, food quality and communication. We needed a new breakfast/lunch spot in the neighborhood. I have been waiting for this place to open and when they did this weekend my wife and I came in as soon as we could. I started... with The Big Chetta, their giant Bloody Mary, rimmed with house made bacon salt and topped with celery, pepperoncini, olives,pickle, candied bacon, and chicken & waffle. Pretty much a whole meal on top of the drink and it was all delicious. My wifestarted with their frozen mimosa slushy that was very refreshing. I couldn?t resist ordering the breakfast burrito that camesmothered in the most amazing pork green chili sauce. They could sell me a whole bowl of that sauce. Even though it was sotasty, I was only able to finish half of the giant burrito, maybe because of the meal I already ate that came on top of myBloody Mary lol. My wife got the croissant Benedict and she loves it. She cleaned the plate before I could ask how it was. Iwashed down the burrito with a nice mug of WOW Wheat from Four Peaks. My daughter and I visited yesterday morning before selling Girl Scout cookies. It was finally Netta Cheta's opening day (we had... been eagerly awaiting this for a long time). Let me tell you, the food and service were worth the wait. Due to it being openingday, we each chose an entree (chicken tenders with fries for the 5 year old and the pork green chile smothered breakfast burritofor me) and ordered the pineapple upside down pancakes to share, knowing that we would be bringing food home. OMG, it was worththe wait. Do yourself a favor and go. The bloody Mary looked AMAZING and I'll definitely try that next time we visit. Thank youfor taking such great care of us! We'll see you soon! Love the restaurant! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed like family. The atmosphere is cute and warm. Our family had coffee... and mimosas (definitely a great way to start the day). You get little fresh donuts that are sweet and delicious! Read more
