We went here because my Fiance was looking for a good Mexican restaurant for food and Margaritas. Before going I checked the... reviews and after reading a review where a customer found a rusty nail in her food (& she took a pic of the nail) I knew then Iwasn't eating at this place so we agreed to just go and have a Margarita. MIL's favorite restaurant, so we had a largeish group there for her 90th birthday. Service was someone who always takes care of... her--Felix, I think? He was spot on, accurate and friendly. All I can say about this particular Manuel's (Tempe) is that the staff are super friendly and very attentive. But that's only... one reason I gave this place 3 stars. The food that we ordered was so bland. There wasn't enough salt or pepper that could'vehelped our meals. We tried this Manuel's because they open at 9am and wanted to try the breakfast. Unfortunately it came upshort and will go back to our regular Manuel's (Indian School Rd). At least I know my food will be delicious and flavorful. Read more
