The service and food was excellent! They accommodated for us in our selections. The salsa is not overly spicy, which I like so... you can taste the flavor without burning your taste buds. The atmosphere is gorgeous also! Excited to go back! Read more

Had a reunion here because everywhere is was closed on Sunday's - the party doubled over night and we had 19 people in our... party that showed up. Of course with the way things are these days they were worried about being understaffed but hesitantlyaccommodated. We had 2 tables for 10 each table and 2 waitresses, I really liked the effort and kindness the waitress I hadshowed. The other waitress needed a timeout or something as she was pretty grumpy. Another waitress came out to help serve foodand argued with me on a dish that I ordered to the point I opened up a menu to show that I knew what I ordered, hey we're allhuman (I think) but an apology maybe?? ???? The food was good, we all had a great time and were there for under 3 hours. Theywere able to keep everyone happy and didn't take as long as the manager was anticipating ?? Really the only thing we hated wasthe drug deals going on outside by the entrance and inside in the bathroom and my 9 year old was in the bathroom ????????? Mywaitress *per my receipt* was Gabriella - she deserves a raise! Travelled across country for a wedding and this reunion and shemade certain we were happy before heading back out to return to the East coast. Read more

First time at this location… my server was great and tried his best but the food was cold! My hubby ordered tortilla soup and... he told me it was cold and I tried it and it was cold as if it was sitting out for an hour. I ordered chicken and cheese tacosbut I didn’t get that I got chicken tacos with everything on them so my order was messed up and there was no cheese so theserver brought queso cheese but it had spinach in it and it didn’t taste good with the chicken at all. My chicken wascold…it was grilled but it was too sitting out for a while to be as cold as it was. My husband ordered steak tacos and hewasn’t impressed they were flavorless. The server did take 20% off ended up being $44 meal but I really might dispute thiswith owners as nothing was good, I didn’t get a hot meal and $15 for 2 tacos with no sides really is a rip off especially ifit wasn’t what I ordered. I see they’re hiring but the need someone who can actually cook and not cook ahead and leave itout all day. Read more

From the moment we walked in, I knew it was going to be a rough experience. No one was at host stand and when we looked around,... there were at least 10 tables that were not cleaned off. The restaurant was not busy. After a minute, 2 employees approached thehost stand and were in conversation with each other, so it was another minute before they greeted us. They led with, “give usa few min, we don’t have any tables available” when there were still plenty even though many were not cleaned off. We wereseated, then moved to a booth after one was cleaned. Madison was our waitress and she did not seem to want to be at work. Herattitude was poor and personality very dry with no sense of urgency and lacked general customer service skills. 2 of 3 of ushad good lunch with no issues, however, 1 received cold carne asada tacos and when informing Madison her response was flatly,“so you want another one” and left the plate of cold food on the table. We never got any refills or checked in on but had toflag her down to address the cold dinner. Madison brought the replacement food in a to-go bag and dropped the bill off withoutspeaking to us at all. It’s one thing to walk into an environment that either has poor management or understaffed. It’sanother thing to have poor service and that was a theme from host to wait staff. We tried to go to the Macayo’s location nearRio Salado but learned it closed a few years ago. It was always excellent there and Bell Rd is great too. We will never returnto this location and do not recommend it at all. Read more
