Thought it was safe being family owned, have some old recipes. We started out with the sampler platter, it was so greasy and... didn't have any flavor, I couldn't believe it, thank God we hadn't ordered our meals yet, we passed on that! Service was great, chips and salsa are really good but the main dish was just eh, especially for the price... The carne asada... meat had a weird seasoning and had the texture of ground beef, not thinly sliced steak and had no char flavor from the grill. The queso fundido was made with real cheese and while it tasted good it got oily and lumpy quickly which was a huge drawback. The service was great, Food was delicious, margaritas were huge and tasty. We shared a green chili quesadilla and chips and... salsa?? and took a green chili burrito and chicken chimichanga home for later?.. Margarita was great, 1 really hit the spot. Anice experience overall. The service was awesome. The food was just average for us. The chips came out warm but were rather oily. Chunky Salsa was good ,... also got the spicy one they have but it wasn?t really spicy at all. The guacamole was good. They have lots of options with corntortillas so good options for gluten free people. Three stars as the food was just average for us.
