With so many styles of food available like pizza, Chinese, and burgers just to name a few, Mediterranean food should always be... in the mix. You can never go wrong with mediterranean food. The food is freshly cooked. The flavors are amazing, and it ishealthy. I recently was craving Mediterranean food and Kalos Grill showed up on my Google search. Located in the city of Tempe,off Broadway, the food here was amazing. I had their beef plate and beef flatbread sandwich (for my road trip back home toCalifornia). The beef, which was a actually a filet mignon, was masterfully grilled. It was beyond tender and full of mouthwatering flavor. Even as I write this review a week later, I can still imagine the texture and taste of their beef. In additionto their plates, they serve pita sandwiches, bowls, and salads. Definitely on my return list. The portions were excellent and the food tasted delicious for sure. We had the gyro & the Plate... with the added beef. If you are going around lunch time I would recommend having patience as it is worth the wait. 1 cook and1 person taking orders and preparing the meals and yet we really did not wait that long considering. I was walking by outside when I noticed the signs and the food looked good so I decided to walk in and see how good it... was. There was immediately a warm welcome and everyone was very friendly and willing to give recommendations. I decided to gowith a salad, because I wasn't feeling rice, and added beef and chicken because I wanted to give both a try. First I have to saythe salad was very fresh and delicious. I normally don't eat salad because it's so bland but the salad here was so deliciouswith the sauce and the beef and chicken just topped it off so well. The beef was just right, not too juicy but also not too dryand the chicken was a little on the plain and dry side but would still be willing to try it again because I like chicken andit's better for my diet. Overall, really enjoyed my experience as they were not only friendly and helpful but also fast and gavegreat recommendations. Will definitely come again! Read more
The food and service here is absolutely amazing!!! I definitely will be coming back again! Tried the chicken and filet mignon... gyros - meat is juicy, flavorful, and simply phenomenal. They even provided free samples! Also got an amazing dessert and adrink. Prices are reasonable as well 10/10 flawless service and food experience! Read more
This place has the most amazing authentic gyros I have had in Phoenix! It?s a must try!!! The jalapeño cilantro sauce and... garlic sauce are amazing. The meat has a lot of flavor. You can easily make the plate last for 2-3 meals! Read more
Had to revise this review. Went in today and ordered my usual, disappointing because the chicken tasted like it?s been cooked... yesterday and just sat. Very dry and brittle, almost couldn?t finish my meal. We stopped coming due to this. It?s not fun eatingold food but paying a good penny for it. Best food I have ever had! My fiance and I visit this place almost once a week. Everytime we go the lady who is tatted up does the best job! She cooks amazing and treats us the way im sure shed want to be cookedfor and treated like. We will keep coming as long as they stay open! Ive even contemplated working there on weekends just tokeep the place open longer lol! Read more
