Great food! Great service! Authentic. The cucumber water was refreshing! The orange chicken and pad thai was so good! And the... ice cream that comes with the food was tasty. Everything is good portions and you pick how hot ????? you want the food. Read more
Chanpen never disappoints, particularly their lunch special. At the beginning of the meal you're presented with a simple, yet... tasty cabbage soup. Their options for the lunch special are reasonably priced, and fairly varied. Their newest addition to thespecial is a small bowl of homemade sherbet, which was absolutely delightful! Overall I would highly recommend checking themout. Read more
I usually get roasted duck for my birthday. Any way it's served is fine. But ti decided to have mine with a pumpkin curry,... medium heat and I have to say... Best birthday din din ever, so far ????. The duck was perfect and the skin was crispy, even inthe curry. Pumpkin of course is in season so you can't go wrong with it. As we're gonna go get the check, the server brings outsome of the sorbet they serve there, refreshing! We will definitely be coming back to check out other dishes they offer. Read more

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and told to sit anywhere we'd like. Once we sat down a few minutes later, the waitress... brought over some cucumber water and vegetable soup. During our visit they had some jazz/ classical music playing which gave offa relaxing vibe. They have a lunch special which runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and we showed up around 1:30 and there wereonly a handful of people so there wasn't much of a wait before we got our food. The lunch special included an egg roll and somewonton chips, however, the egg roll was pretty small but still good. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and mygirlfriend ordered fried rice with beef. They ask what spice level you would like your food and the levels range from one tofive, we got our food at spice level 3 but I ordered a side of spice level 4. Level 3 is a pretty good baseline for a spicelover, but once you start moving up to four it starts building up and I can only imagine five is pretty hot. I also ordered asmall Thai tea which was a pretty decent size. However, the Thai tea itself was a little bit too sweet but it did help with thespicy. We were going to get sweet rice with mango but the mango was out of season so we just opted for the sweet rice itselfwhich was still very delicious. At the end they asked if we would like some complimentary orange sherbert ice cream which wasalso very tasty. Overall price and food quantity was very good and I will definitely be returning to eat here again. Read more
