We ordered a hellfire club cake with cookies and cream filling and unfortunately it was just okay. The reference photo I sent... had the design put on with icing, like a drawing, so I expected that.. but it was a printed picture instead. I didn't mind atfirst, but the picture still had blue ink lines down the middle and everyone was really confused by that. Pretty unprofessionalto offer a cake to a client knowing that. And part of the "hellfire club" was covered because the print was a little too big.The filling was vanilla, not cookies and cream like we asked, so that was disappointing. And I hate to say this, but the caketasted awful.. friends were politely throwing it away. We had a pickup time for 3:00 and I was told it wasn't ready yet, so Ididn't get the cake until 3:30 which was stressful because I was on a time crunch with the party we were throwing. We paid $103for the cake and I've paid a lot less for much better cakes at other bakeries. We probably won't be coming back here, but maybethis review will help if someone likes the way the cake looks or doesn?t want printer lines and the wrong flavor. Read more

Reviews of this bakery will depends on one's experience. If you have experienced (as I have), the wonders of European pastries... (France, Germany or any other European country), you will likely agree with my generous two stars rating. If however you havenever experienced European pastries you will perhaps disagree with my rating. On the positive side the staff is very friendlyand the coffee is good (hence my two stars). Read more

My now wife and I were looking for a wedding desserts and cake. We tried to schedule an appointment for tastings but they were... booked so they offered us a box of different assortments to pick up and try out for $50. My wife told them she wanted a fruittart to try and that we didn?t want cupcakes. Came in and our box had the opposite. I asked why and they said ?fruit tarts arebig and we figured you don?t want that and you really should try our cupcakes?. I did simple math to realize I could have boughtall those assortments for closer to $30 so we were overpaying to sample for a big wedding order and we paid for things we didn?teven ask for. We then went to another cake shop and it was a NIGHT AND DAY experience. She answered all of our questions and setup a FREE custom cake tastings and helped us build our dream cake and desserts. All free and 2 hours of her time withcomplimentary coffee and a nice table with all flavors and options. She listened to all our preferences. We wasted $50 cash forthings we didn?t want and we never had a follow up from this place. Felt like they just wanted to make their $50 and go. Also, cupcake we never wanted was way too sweet. i really liked this place before.i understand the inflation hits everyone, but 3.99 for a cup cake only a little bigger than a... large brown egg and packaged with plastic container. Tbh, they look cheap, and just like walmart cupcake but triple of theprice ? very disappointed, and we will not go back again! Do you guys have different bakers now? they don?t taste the same atall, the frosting tastes old , and cake tastes dry! Read more

What a delightful bakery! The girls behind the counter are helpful and nice, and the prices are very reasonable. We popped in... for a Saturday afternoon treat, and everyone ordered something different. The cake slices were wonderful and the fruit tart andchocolate tart were both delicious as well. Highly recommend! Read more

We used Batter Up Bakery as our wedding vendor for our wedding cake and desserts. Absolutely no complaints! Everything was... wonderful and delivered to the venue without issue. We didn't really want a huge, elaborate wedding cake because we wanted tohave a dessert and candy bar with a lot of different options, so we ordered a small 'semi-naked' wedding cake. It tasted greatand we added a few flowers from our florist to make it look perfect. Read more

I tried this bakery for the first time yesterday. Based on a plain croissant and a slice of Orange Blossom Cake I'd say it's a... good place, not great. They have lots of iced layer cakes, both whole and individual slices. The cake had great flavor(orange, not orange blossom) without being too strong. I couldn't taste any butter in the cake or icing though there was realwhipped cream between the layers. If I'm going to eat unhealthy, I want all the good stuff. The buttery croissant was quiteexcellent, among the best I've ever had. Soft but also nicely crispy on the outside. But way overpriced at $4.25. Hmmm. Boththings were freshly made and I wouldn't say I'd be suffering if I ate them again. But it's not five star, IMHO. The premiseswere very clean. Tons of free parking outside. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Comfy chairs inside for leisurely eating, alsoshaded tables outside. Read more
