My wife and I booked a day at the spa with a couples massage. When we checked in at the front the staff greeted us and showed... us around. I was able to relax in the spa and sauna before getting my massage. Afterwards we enjoyed an included glass of winewhile sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool and palm trees. We were able to spend the next few hours enjoying the pooland spa as well. The pool area has a place to order food and drinks, Mario took our orders and was very helpful with informingus about the food & drink menu and showed great customer service toward us. My wife and I had a great time. The whole staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Especially Michael at the front desk.... Definitely went above and beyond in making sure we were taken care of. The resort is super clean, pretty, and totally relaxing.The pool staff did a great job too. We don?t get to get out often because of babies and Michael and everyone else made it soworth the time away. Thanks again everyone. Read more
Stayed in both the hotel and one of the villas. Spent a lot of time at the pool and enjoyed a massage at the spa. The staff was... incredibly friendly and accommodating! Wish we could have stayed longer and looking forward to coming back. The perfect weekendgetaway! Only cons noted were no towel hooks in the either of the rooms and no dedicated walking path between differentbuildings in the complex. There also wasn't a great place to put large trash and dishes for pick up. Read more
7/5/22 My friend used her membership to let my husband and I book a two-night stay at the resort. It was the LONGEST two nights... of my life! We made reservations to eat brunch at the Vineyard Rose Restaurant on-site before checking-in. The outdoor diningarea is in need of some serious upgrades, with the ceiling caving in and all. They lay the silverware on the table, outside ofthe cloth napkins, waiting for guests arrival, which kind of disturbed me with Covid still on the rise and the confident littlebrown birds, jumping all over the tables and chairs, the whole time. Check-in was seamless. However, one of the elevators wasbroken, so we waited patiently for the one working elevator, each time we ventured outside. We came back to eat at VineyardRose for Intermezzo and checked in as a walk-in for dinner. The service was hit and miss. We lucked up with one really friendlyserver during Intermezzo, who also made amazing drinks. It was too bad the hotel has no microwave in sight to warm up yourleftovers or pop popcorn (like we had planned to do). One of the first thing I noticed after using the restroom and washing myhands, was the makeup on the hand towel. I don?t wear makeup. Also, the carpet and furniture were visibly stained. During ourstay, we could literally hear each time our neighbors turned on their water and took showers. The A/C made an obnoxiously loudnoise, every time it came on during the first night. The second night, we got to listen to it make this annoying ticking/poppingnoise, ALL night long. The bed was SO hard, I woke up both days with sore arms/shoulders, and back. We found out that the tubin the bathroom was not a jacuzzi tub, like we thought. The last night of our stay, we went to the pool area at 8:20pm for asoak in the jacuzzi before bed. The pool guy was cleaning it and said that it closed at 8pm, which contradicted the 9pm closingtime posted on the pool gate entrance. The spa was closed during our visit because it was a h Read more
Was just at the winery yesterday for tasting. Customer service was great. The young gentleman who served wine to my husband and... I was courteous and professional. The wine were delicious and the olive oil was heavenly. My bad, I have no cash on me at thetime (lost at the casino), he deserved a huge tip... next time. The resort was beautiful! Service from Debbie was amazing as well. The rooms on the other hand need some love. If they put the... beds by the fire place and put the couch by the front door, you wouldn't hear the neighbors slamming the door all night long.Other than that the stay was nice. We had a room block here for our wedding party and several guests. It was wonderful, from working with the marketing people, to... the reservation agents, to the front desk, everyone was polite and helpful. Our guests enjoyed the entire wine countryexperience, staying in the vineyards, morning hot air balloons and wine tasting. The restaurant (for breakfast at least) wasalso delicious. Splurge for the villas, they are super nice. Thank you South Coast for being a part of our wedding weekendmemories. Read more
This review is just for the wines and tasting room hospitality. 5 of us booked a grape stomping. When we got there we realized... buying a case of wine was mandatory with stomping. None of us were going to take 12 wine bottles home and one of our friends wasfrom different state where they didn't ship. They wouldn't allow us to buy just the stomping. But they were nice enough to giveus a refund and gave 1 additional tasting per stomping tickets purchase. We tried a lot of different wines. I am not a whitewine person, but they have very good selection. I wouldn't say location and ambience are great but they were pretty good.Overall we had a great time. Read more
