Experience was terrible... the grumpy old man treated me like I wasn?t a human being... I asked for garlic and he looked at me... said no. Never giving this place my business ever again. The food is great, but sometimes the service is beyond questionable. The man behind the counter today, he's usually posted up... in the corner with his phone eating fast food, mistakenly took my food to another table, where the person picked at it with hishands before the mistake was realized. The server then had the audacity to bring me that plate as if it were no big deal. Idon't think anyone wants to pay $30 for a lunch other customers have dug through. Being a frequent Mediterranean food fan(just went to Greece last month), and lots of time in Los Angeles., I have to say I was... disappointed. I would give this place two stars. The presentation of food is good but the tastiness of Beef, and Rice was notgood. The food quality was low with excess fat. The Chicken was average. The Rice was not fresh. A nice mom and pop shop with Pretty good food. It even had a great little convenience store attached with Mediterranean items. I... found Lion Chocolate bars there which I have only seen in Europe. I'll definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Our family feels Mr Kabob's food is super tasty! Their bone-in chicken leg/thigh (#3) & their shrimp plate are scrumptious!! ... My husband likes the gyro plate. We always order the yummy meat kibeh's and I add the one-visit salad bar to my dish. Theirrice is very good, but we sometimes ask for extra hummus to sub for it (less carbs). Family owned and run. Tried the Shish Tawook Sandwich here for lunch. It was very good, basically a marinated, grilled chicken sandwich with garlic... sauce. Tomatoes and pickles also. I really liked what the pickles added to the overall flavor. The bread was not really apita but a Persian variation of it. Very thin and a bit dry, a good vehicle for the other flavors. This is a Persiancounter-service food place. They have a salad bar with lots of condiments which was looking a little tired halfway betweenlunch and dinner. Salad bar is a separate charge.. There is a surprisingly large area that is a grocery store for Persian andMiddle Eastern provisions, including lots of bakery items. Didn't try those so I can't recommend but they looked good. Read english. This place either dont speak or read english since 4 out of 5 times i order food from them for delivery, i get... something different than ordered. Its a sincere mistake when happends once or twice but when happens most times ordered than itsa pattern in their language barrier or not carrying for their customers. Just heads up when you order one thing you might getsomething else. Very annoying to the point of disrespecting. Other than that, the food is decent and healthy.
