Stopped by Mariposa Ice Cream because we were in the area and my kids were wanting ice cream. It's on the outer ring of the... Promenade mall, which is nice and probably less congested. I believe we were helped by the shop's owner, who was very nice andchatted with us until more customers came in. My kids both got cones, my husband got a shake, and I got a root beer float. Mariposa is an adorable little ice cream shop located on Overland Drive on Temecula. They offer a wide variety of ice cream... flavors along with non-dairy options. I was told that their best seller is Cookies & Cream which my son tried and loved. Iordered Rocky Road. The chocolate ice cream is rich but not heavy, and it's packed full of nuts (and marshmallows) that gives awonderful textured experience. This place certainly deserves a try! Read more
Great little ice cream shop. The folks there are super nice and helpful. They were helpful with my kids deciding what they... wanted. The ice cream tastes delicious as well. The waffle cones were being made fresh at the time so they were still a littlewarm. They smelled and tasted amazing! I got the root beer freeze, which was like a root beer float blended into a milkshakeconsistency. We'll be back for sure! Read more

They add alot of icecream! If you ask for 2 scoops they stuff the cone then count the scoops! It was delicious the tenth time... you purchase something there you get a free double scoop.. Yum.. Read more
