Reviews for Ladera Greek Kitchen in Temecula, CA
I?ve had Greek cuisine a couple times when I was younger but as of recently, I?ve been trying different options especially at... this restaurant. The food here is fantastic in taste and in looks. Everything is fresh and hot and packed with a lot of culturalflavors. From the people I know if they ever have had Greek food, their go to safe choice would be some form of the gyro andeven though the gyros here are great, there is so much more to try! I?ve ordered their gyros, plates, and dabbled in thedifferent sides they offered that I?ve never tried, and I haven?t been let known. The lamb is delicious as well as their lambskewers which would probably be one of my favorites and another thing I?ve never tried before were the feta fries. Theirdescription include lemon sauce and I was skeptical but tasting those slices of potatoes and seasoning plus the feta cheese, itwas quite delightful. Not only can you order the feta fries, but you can also add on any protein you desire. I also dabbled intheir, ?pastitsio,? which is described as their Greek lasagna, and I was pleasantly surprised as well. The baklava was a verygood finish to any Greek meal. There are many more options I haven?t tried so I will be back for more! Be curious and try it! Read more
Excellent food at good prices. We came here on a short vacation and found this place by accident and I'm glad we did. The food... was SO good and at good prices. They have a small outdoor eating area that we were able to sit at with the dogs. For us this isa definite come back place next time we are in town. Read more
Ladera Greek Kitchen is the real deal! The food is authentic and delicious. We have done dine in, takeout and delivery. We have... never had an issue. You can never go wrong with the plates, gyros and mousakka. What's really unique is their feta fries, thepotatoes are like mojo potatoes (sliced and crunchy) and definitely a must try. The dips with pita is also a must. Read more
We've been wanting to try this place for a while. The dining room is nice and clean and the menu is very fresh. They have a good... selection of gluten free and being options as well. We ended up ordering the combo plate with 2 skewers and I was able to splitsplit getting one lamb and 1 steak cut off steak kebab. I like the flavor of the rice pilaf it is on the wetter side. Iordered the side salad as well and and that was pretty standard the dressing was pretty good. My favorite part of the meal wasactually the spicy feta sauce that comes with the meal. The lamb was very tender and the steak as well they were covered in aOlive oil emulsion with garlic which really made the meat moist. I wish they gave a little bit more pita as you only get 2 smallslices. The wifey ordered the gyro sandwich, She said the lamb had great flavor and the tzatziki sauce was very good as well.We also ended up ordering a side of sponacopita which was a very flaky delicious cheesy spinachy morsel. The price of the 2item combo was about $20 so definitely on the higher side but a good amount of food. We will definitely be back! Read more
Well, I?m starting this review with a celebratory meal from Ladera Greek Kitchen as I was in the mood for something Greek and... I?m finally heading toward a closing date so I can move! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with this place as there were a fewoptions, but this one felt like the right decision to make and I?m certainly glad that I did. Now to the breakdown ofthings: As always, I start with the ?As Delivered? section as I really feel that how things are presented upon delivery is justas important as the meal itself. I started with the three containers of food and found them to be high quality and seemed tohold their heat well. I then opened them to explore the bounty I was about to happily consume! The next three photos are aclose-up view on the entrées and side in the containers with Feta Fries being first, The Classic Gyro Pita second, and TheGreek Chicken Pita. Now onto what you are looking to read? First on deck is going to be the Classic Gyro Pita and it did notdisappoint. The Tzatziki sauce was excellent! The flavor was there, but just the right amount. I?m picky on this as I have hadsome versions of Tzatziki that taste like I purchased the whole cucumber! In this case, it complemented the meat perfectly and Ifound nothing but bliss with each bite. The meat was excellent as it was not only tender, but flavorful and moist! As far as thePita goes?this is probably one of the best I have had in years!! It was soft, light, and fluffy. It honestly almost felt like Iwas touching a smooth blanket and most importantly, it held up with each bite of a very well stuffed Gyro. I included two plateangle photos and one pre-bite photo for this one. You cannot go wrong with this one at all and without a doubt you will befull! The second Gyro I?m going to discuss is the Greek Chicken Pita. Since I already discussed the texture of the Pita above,I?ll just say that the quality is consistent between both Gyros. I did struggle a bit more eating this one as Read more
Great Greek food. We had the Meat Gyro and Falafel Gyro, as well as a side of Feta Fries. The beef & lamb gyro was as expected... from a fast service greek place, delicious and quick. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fetafries were a surprise treat, perfectly cooked potatoes with feta and some sauce. Read more
Last week I had a good gyro sandwich at this attractive and clean restaurant. It wasn't a great sandwich because the gyro meat... was pretty mushy though also tasty. They didn't griddle it for crispy edges. I think that's important. Plus the Tzatzikisauce was overly salted. But as I say, it was a good sandwich and I'd have it again if I was in the area and hungry. Read more
