We stumbled upon this place about 7pm on our way thru town, while avoiding interstate accident traffic, and are glad we did. The... owner and his staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! An Italian experience with delicious memorable food and service that takes way too long to get served. We found this place on... Yelp for a new Italian experiences. The restaurant is next to the 88 ranch Asian market. Great environment inside with Italiandecor and even had live jazz music going. One word of warning they seem very short staffed cause it took 20 minutes to place anorder and tracking down any server once we started dinner was very difficult. We started with wine (a fantastic collection!)that was very tasty. The caprese was very old school Italian with olive oil and it was great too. The entrees of pasta weremouth watering and the portions are great. We even had a bit of spumoni desert to finish. The prices a bit high across the boardon the food and the service was a bit lackluster. But everything else was great! Maybe it was just a bad night for them or shortstaffed. I just had lunch here about an hour ago with my mom and this place (at least for me) really took me back to when I used to live... in Italy in my younger years... The atmosphere, the people, and how the employees interact with each other is LIKE NO OTHERPLACE that I've been to in terms of dining out. The servers and the owner of the place are VERY INTERACTIVE and EXPRESSIVE onhow they carry themselves!!! The hostess was AMAZING and very DELIGHTFUL to be around, the owner was funny, charismatic and alsoVERY ENTERTAINING!!! Andres our waiter was very respectful and also very welcomimg and had the utmost customer service that isamazing!!! The food was DELICIOUS (we had the seafood pasta, with lasagna, and spaghetti with salmon). For a first time visit itwas definitely A HOME RUN FOR REAL!!!! I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner in their large, private room. It was the perfect size (we had a party of almost 30) and had... a beautiful chandelier. It was great that we could bring in our own decorations to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Karamia wasvery helpful through each step and answered all the questions that I threw at her. Was able to confirm a reservation that I made weeks ahead of time to come to this place. I decided after 33 years I wanted to... try something different on our anniversary. And what I can say is that my wife and myself enjoyed our time at this restaurant.The time we got there was 11:01 and from that point on I thought I was in Italy. Pass through it on a tour did I have a chanceto stop in it. But it was remarkable extremely comfortable and intimate and family-oriented. The food was outstanding theirexperience that Jennifer showed us for the very get-go the wine list the pairings what food to eat what food that parents wouldgo with the great wines that were being served is it outstanding tribute to her ability as a customer is a waitress conciergeprobably part-time manager to handle everything that was given to her trying to take our orders and make sure that we wereextremely happy. Since we have been married for 33 years and this was our anniversary she made it special she made it importantand she made it all about us.
