I went there for the first time and was very disappointed! I ordered a wet burrito and a California burrito. Both burritos... lacked ingredient’s neither had sour cream the wet burrito didn’t come with lettuce or sour cream. Just cheese and steak.The picture below if a picture of my California burrito ????. Pictures says it all. On top of this disappointing experience whenthe lady asked me what kind of sauce I wanted I told her can I get 2 green sauces. I get home and I find 3 red sauces. And bythe way the red sauce isn’t that good imo. Basically if I do try this place again I won’t be trying these two items. To addon the extra ingredients that other places already have in there burritos would make Santanas burrito cost around 20 plus foran average. Great food, great service and good prices.
HORRIBLE PLACE. I love mexican food and was looking forward to trying this place, especially since it had 4 stars. My fries were... super drained in oil. They were so soggy. This has never happened to me ever in any restaurant. It was not edible at all unlessyou love eating straight up oil (pics for proof). My husband ordered the carne asada fries, and the meat was chewy, boney, andflavorless. We paid $25 for food that we ended up throwing away after one bite. Just save your money and go to Alberto's. The food here is tasty. I usually get one of their chicken or seafood plate combos which consists of yellow rice, refried beans,... shredded lettuce, salsa, guacamole and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Sometimes I simply get fish tacos and horchata. IALWAYS get their roasted salsa (if I'm naming it correctly) which is quite flavorful and has the right amount of spicy kick. Thestaff has always been pleasant and the crowd (even amidst this pandemic) never too much because they service customers in atimely manner. 8 times out of 10, I call in my order. May 23, 2020 – There seems to be a change in management, the staff I'maccustom to seeing wasn't present the last two times I visited. They're friendly and the food was still tasty but the priceshave gone UP. I already felt like their prices were a tad bit high and now this... I paid almost $14.00 for a combination platealone + taxes, no extras, no drink. I eat the same portion size at another local spot and pay under $10.00 + taxes. Delicious burritos at an affordable price. The monster burrito is the size of two large burritos and includes rice, beans, meat,... cheese, and more. My husband orders the California burrito. The carne asada is seasoned well and never has any grisly bits.They have an amazing salsa bar with 6 different varieties. My favorite is the habanero. It’s amazingly tasty and spicy! Read more
If I could give no star I would. Save yourself money and time. The place stinks like a sewage leak, they charged $33+ for 1... monster burrito cheese quesadilla, California burrito, Carnitas burrito. I don't have a problem paying the price if it is worthit, this place is not. The food took a very long time, for the price the food is just not worth it. My a burrito was incompleteand the french fries that were in it are burnt. Sadly I didn't find this out until I got home. Another 20 min drive to go backis just not worth it. My girlfriend went in today and bought a 2 cheese enchilada plate for me. It only had one. She went back and told the man, he... said he saw two and he would not be giving her another. We come there all the time, but now she never wants to go again. I wasnot able to leave as I was in a training for my counseling grad degree. I bought a burrito here and it literally had a metal wire in my burrito. Some of my teeth were chipped as a result and I got in... contact with the owner. I told him that I have dental insurance and that all I wanted him to do was cover the out of pocketcost. He told me to make my dentist appointment and provide him with the receipt and my insurances number. But he tried tellingme that it wasn’t his or the restaurants fault that it happened. I strongly disagreed with him and told him it may not havebeen on purpose but it was definitely their fault. Fast forward, I went to the dentist and the out of pocket cost was only $64!The procedure was over $700 before my insurance kicked in. I called the owner to let him know and he was super defensive. Saying“I let my insurance know and this is now between you and them. I’m not gonna pay any money out of my own pocket”. This manis acting like I am trying to sue him for hundreds. All I wanted was him to take ownership for his restaurants negligence. I amnever eating here again and I hope they get their act together. Read more
