Who came first, the Chickz or the Dave's? Doesn't matter. Angry Chickz is better than Dave's Hot Chicken. The two are almost... identical but Angry Chickz seems to have a better rub. Perfect amount of salt and spice. In addition, their fries are crispy onthe outside and soft in the middle. They also have condiments, utensils and napkins all where the customer can get them. I likethat. I'm an adult, please don't make me ask for ketchup. Excuse the picture, I had already eaten one chicken sandwich. They dopack everything up like it's to-go. Wasn't super impressed. I ordered a number 3 with the slider having hot and the white bread with pickles being mild. The fries... had some seasoning on them but they weren't seasoned appropriately and had some spots none and some spots too much that you gota powdery taste. Unfortunately the same thing could be said about the chicken. The very first bite I took was just the chicken,and I immediately regretted it because it was way over seasoned with the dry rub and I got a mouthful of dry seasoning blendthat had me reaching for my lemonade immediately. The next bite I took was off the slider with the cole slaw. This was a muchtastier bite as the moisture from the cole slaw helped keep the powdery taste at bay. I didn't get any pickles on my white breadsandwich so I had to go ask for some. Definitely recommend asking for extra pickles because they help with the white breadsandwich to not be so powdery as well. Both the levels of spiciness were adequate heat, but if you love spicy food this can be aplace for you, just be prepared for the chance you might get a mouthful of dry spice rub in your bite. Best spicy chicken sandwich ever!!!! The fries, and chicken are seasoned to perfection. I ordered the number 3 combo (slider and... tender with fries) in the medium and it was still spicy! Will def. Go back and recommend to all. Read more
I went in today around 3:30pm for the first time. The store has cool music playing and has dine in options of inside or outside... in patio. I ordered the combo #3 which consists of 1 slider and 1 tender with fries and ordered with medium heat. The fries aregood. My favorite was the slider. The seasoning is pretty good for what it is but it did come a little overwhelming after awhile. The sauce it comes with is tasty. Now....the chicken itself-I am picky when it comes to fried chicken, and I can say Ireally enjoyed it! It was tender and juicy, cooked just perfect. Overall, it's a good eat, nothing super spectactular but wortha try atleast once. My combo with a side drink came out to $16. That is a little pricey but it is filling-can share with 2people :) Read more
Goodness Gracious this place is so fresh and delicious. I didn?t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered ... the sandwich combo in hot pretty dang spicy for me my nose got runny and my mouth was ????. Fries were perfectly seasoned andhas a nice crunch. This is my new fave. Read more

Had lunch and was presently surprised. Angry (Spicy) Chicken was good n tasty. We ordered Combo #1 Mild Light Spice ???????? and... a huge tender in Medium Perfect Heat.. (Spicy) Make sure you can handle the heat cause it?s a Hot?Staff was on the ball and youdon?t wait too long. So good. I got xhot which is scorpion level hot. Super good. My 7 and 9 year old shared a plate. The "sliders" are full... sandwiches, not that I'm complaining. We all left very full and they gave us extra mac and cheese for free, super creamy. Allaround greatness. Open one up on the east coast! We will miss you angry chicken... Read more
