The view is great, thanks to mother nature. We stayed in Junior Suite, which has a kitchenette but the bathroom is small. Just... warning you, they have about 100 rooms but only 25 available reserved parking spots, they want you to valet park once thosespots are filled up. This is a huge issue, as there are guests who would take your parking spot due to lack of it. We arrivedaround 7 pm and were told that the hotel did not have any more reserved parking spots and we had to do valet parking. We wereasked when we booked the room whether we would be bringing a vehicle and there is a $20 per day charge which we said we wouldand OK the parking charges. The hotel followed up with an email to confirm the make and model on a docu-sign document that wecompleted about 2 weeks prior to our arrival. With all these confirmations and still no parking spot provided unless we valet? We asked what was the point of all these confirmations if, at the end of the day, it is a first-come-first-serve availabilityfor parking. The front office argued that it is not a first-come-first-serve but there are guests coming in earlier and takingthe available parking. He suggested that if we are not happy with the valet parking arrangement we could park at a nearbyparking structure for $25 per day OR stay at another hotel, even though the hotel has charged us the full bill 2 weeks prior toour stay! So basically, our way or the highway. We expected better service for the price we paid, not a motel-level service, especially in Telluride where the location is known to be exclusive and expensive. After we unloaded our belongings, a reservedparking spot "miraculously" became available only to be occupied by another car, imagine that. The front office stated that hecan give us another reserved spot that the guest has not arrived. I politely declined and refused to have another guest gothrough what we went through. After 12 hours of driving and an hour to get ourselves situated at the hotel, my e Read more

For as much as this place cost I really thought it would be a better experience. You have to pay for parking which was like ok.... Valet is free. Our room is super small and that's something that could be overlooked but there is tape holding the toilet seattogether. Asked the really sweet people for extra pillows and towels at 6pm. We fell asleep at about 8 or 9. Woke up to pillowslaying INSIDE our room on the floor by the door. Not in a bag or anything just laying there. Sad part is we have one more nighthere. We would leave today if it wasn't for losing over $300. Read more

Warning. Although you may be staying at Mountain Lodge, some of the units are not managed by Mountain Lodge. We had booked a... place there for 12 days and it was horrendous and we left early. The management at Mountain Lodge had no responsibility forthat unit but I must say they were out of this world fabulous helping us. Chris and Dina tried so hard to help us salvage ourvacation. Although there was little they could do financially, they were very helpful in moving us to a wonderful place IN THESAME BUILDING. It was clean and bright. Daily turn down service. An amazing difference. BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH MOUNTAIN LODGE. Read more

I booked a 4 night night stay at this mountain jewel to visit my husband who was working in Telluride this summer helping his... brother who is a building contractor on the Sunnyside Housing Project. He has been gone since June and telling me what a sliceof heaven Telluride is so I packed up our two pups and made the 10-ish hour drive up to check it out myself! The property istruly lovely and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. What I loved right from the start is they really are petfriendly. I mean there were pets everywhere (but not in an obnoxious sort of way.) The parking is limited so they had us valetour vehicle (20 per day) and it is a bit chaotic on weekends when folks seem to be checking in/out but we were able to pull downand unload, etc. We were in room 4118 which was a second floor one bedroom at the bottom of the little hill. Our room was verynice, comfortable and had a rustic/mountain vibe with a full kitchen. What I loved the most was there is this meadow (I guessit is a ski slope in the winter) on the backside of our building where we took our two pups out several times a day to run, playand take care of their business and they loved it! Housekeeping checked in on us and made sure we had whatever we needed. There is a market up at the top of the hill within walking distance of the lodge where you can get groceries. There is also alittle coffee/burrito/taco place that is open M-F limited hours that serves up really good food. You can take the FREE gondola(with your dogs!) down a short ride to the mountain village where there are more restaurants AND you can take it even farther bytransferring to another gondola to take it all the way down into Telluride where there are shops and restaurants. I think someof the folks we ran into here live here? I am guessing you can buy into this place and it may be some sort of timeshare. Overall we were incredibly comfortable and really enjoyed our stay here and I would absolutely sta Read more

Stayed in one of the cabins with my friends for the weekend. It was absolutely stunning! Amazing views and amenities, including... a jet bath in the master suite, a full kitchen, multiple decks, and a grill. We were only a quick walk from the pool, where wereceived excellent and courteous service from the staff. Stayed here before and would 10/10 stay here again. There is so muchto do in Telluride but honestly I could have just stayed there the whole time! Read more

Absolutely filthy. Take a paper towel. Wet it wipe the tile. The tiles abd grout are filthy. The bathroom ceiling has mold.... There was obvious leaking from the bathroom ceiling there is mold on the bathroom plaster. I had concerns about the waterquality being very cloudy. I called management but only a low level staffer addressed my concerns. A maintenance man Lyle caneand agreed the room is dirty. Mold was present. I showed the in call manager Morgan. I am likely to call the health departmenttomorrow. I have documented photos of the room. The staff is lacking in capability. I have never seen a hotel room at such ahigh price be so poor in cleanliness and higiene. The lighting is very dark. I inshore it?s dark so you cannot notice the dirt. The elevators tile are filthy dirty. The laundry room is dirty. I urge you to examine your bathroom shower door track for mold.My room had mold. The vanity backsplash had mold. The vent fan had dust. The hallway carpets are stained in many areas. Bring agood flashlight shine it on the floor tile and elevator tile. Shine the flashlight on tie deleting as you walk through thehalls. Read more

The only redeeming quality about mountain lodge is the location. Everything else about our stay was horrible. The hotel was... incredibly understaffed with incompetent customer service. The rooms are so outdated: couch is torn, chairs sink in and are oldand dirty, shower pressure is non existent, kitchen items were not properly cleaned and don?t get me started on the beds. Trulythe most uncomfortable bed I?ve ever slept in, it sinks so low I had back pain for a week afterwards. They also don?t use fittedsheets or duvet covers. We paid $2k for 3 nights for terrible service and extremely outdated rooms. Disappointing. Read more

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and attractively furniture with mountain "chic" décor. Shuttle was... virtually on call with few wait times more than a few minutes (Mountain Lodge is about a 10 minute walk to the Village Center). Ski in ski out on a family friendly run. Great experience and I would stay there again. Read more
