We had an incredible dinner for our 35th wedding anniversary. We walked in the restaurant and were greeted so warmly by a lovely... young husband and wife who took care of us all night. We dined in a hut outside where we could stream our own music … awesome. We had amazing gnocchi, lamb, and chocolate tort and profiteroles. It felt like home with great conversation and friendshipwith 2 lovely and warm young professionals who took care of us. The night ended at the bar chatting and enjoying a last glass ofFrench red wine. Just warm, cozy, delicious and remarkably memorable. Read more

This was one of my favorite meals in Telluride. I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and I was so impressed that... Maggie, the Executive Sous Chef came to the table to discuss each course with me. I had the foix gras - which I never thought Iwould try in a million years and it was delicious! All the flavors blended together and it was incredible! The wagyu steak wasto die for - one of the best steaks of my life. And Maggie took a simple sorbet for dessert and dressed it up with fruit andhoney to make it really something special since I couldn't eat the other desserts. Our waitress, Kaylie, was top notch, friendly, had great suggestions and only stopped by our table if we weren't talking or eating. I can't say enough great thingsabout this restaurant - it's a must if you are in Telluride, especially if you are looking for quiet romance! Read more

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and could not have had a better experience. From the moment we arrived... everyone was amazingly hospitable. The manager, the bartender, and our waiter all went out of their way to help us celebrate ourspecial occasion. Aside from the service, the food was absolutely delicious and definitely the best we had in Telluride. Theentire experience was above and beyond what we expected, and we will absolutely be back. Wish I could give it more stars - thankyou to the whole team! Read more

The only star is for the environment. Cause their food SUCKS! The salad is extremely sour. And I can’t believe the scallops... are stink! I wish you can eat it in front of me and told me it’s not stink, cause I offered when I mentioned but nobody triedit. I guess you can’t get some fresh seafood. The pork belly is incredible greasy and sweet. I ate pork belly multiple timesin other places and a lot of them can cook it pretty well. But this place definitely did the worst job. The duck is supersalty. Okay, now come to the dessert, welcome to the sweetness hell! I don’t understand who will add chocolate to cremebrulee. I’m not talking about normal sweet, I’m talking about extreme sweet to a point you can’t eat any single bite. Iliterally can’t finish this my favorite dessert and just want to throw up after this meal! Of course you should take thatentree off my bill, cause it’s literally inedible and I’m sure I will got sick if I finish it. Read more

We had THE most amazing evening at La Marmotte eating inside a glass snow globe. Having known this restaurant for many years,... this most recent visit is by far the best. The food was outstanding - ribeye, trout and salmon were perfection. Same goes forthe French onion soup and crème brûlée. Many thanks to Geoffrey and Mark for making our evening unforgettable. We can’twait to return. Read more

Loved eating in the glass dome at La Marmotte. Made reservations a couple days prior and squeezed in six adults and three small... children. Started with appetizers (pictured) which were all delicious and had wonderful wine and brut. The prefix menu was good, but a couple of folks were a bit disappointed with their main course. The coq au vin was a bit salty, the mussels were a taddry/overcooked and the beef bourguignon was much tougher than this dish is typically. All in all we really enjoyed theexperience and our server was attentive, fun and created an atmosphere that made the meal special! Would definitely return. Read more

Excellent French restaurant very near the gondola station downtown. Three course prix fixe menu, with some nibbles also... available if you're only there to drink and socialize. Cozy indoor seating but the real source of entertainment is dining in oneof the outdoor globes. Each appears to accommodate seven people but it's really neat to do it as a couple. We both orderedColorado trout amandine as our main, but everyone should get the wagyu steak tartare appetizer. Worth the upcharge, as you cansee in the picture. Service was outstanding, very diligent but not overbearing. Extensive wine list from around the world, andif you want to blow some coin on expensive French Grand Cru bottles you can certainly do it here. Read more
