It's been a while since we've been there. My wife and I were walk-ins during the last harvest festival. The stake my wife had... was okay-ish and mine was spot on! The sides were nothing extravagant. The one thing that really stood out to us was this... ourserver made us feel like we were an after thought! Asking our server for drink refills and bread was like squeezing blood outtaa rock! We ate, paid, left a good tip... and told the manager about how we were made to feel welcome in their restaurant! Read more

The restaurant looked fantastic. The waiter/bartender was really nice and funny. He couldn't hear what my son actually ordered... tho do to the noise level at that specific spot of the restaurant. He ordered a Salmon with steamed veggies and pice pilaf, butreceived a replica of what I ordered. A med-rare sirloin with baked potato and cauliflower rice. My son could have spoke uplouder when asked if everything was good (which he did tell him twice it was incorrect but didn't want to bother him againbecause he forgot from being so busy and loud being seated in the booths by the bar) when the food arrived also. The steak waspretty good and the presentation of the food was really nice (excellenton the oie????????????). Would try it again and next timeto get what we actually order????????????, see if my son enjoys it better next time. Read more

Jake's used to be the go to place for my wife and I. Last night was the nail in the coffin. They removed some of our favorite... dishes and the quality of meals has gone down hill. The last 3 times we have gone the food has been mediocre at best. Being fansof their (old dish) spicy shrimp i tried the orange marmalade coconut shrimp. It was mediocre, the effort does not live up tothe $16 price tag. The fried green beans are still good we enjoyed those. We also tried the crab cakes. They were not good, thespicy mayo was ok but could use more depth, and the cakes themselves were a soggy bland mess. We were excited to hear thespecial was lamb shank because we used to love their rack of lamb. The shank tasted like a turkey leg, the mashed potatoes werebland, the the asparagus was abnormally enormous and bland. The wait staff started off great, but there was a sharp decline onceour food came out. Once we finished eating we had to wait 5-10 minutes to flag someone for the check. We asked for a to-go box,and they never brought it. They repeatedly walked by our table to talk to another table they seemed personable with, so we endedup carrying our bones and meat out in a napkin. We have given them many chances hoping they could be as good as they used to be,but this was the last straw. We will not be going back. Read more

Definitely a local clicky vibe. Took a few minutes to be acknowledged. Our waitress didn't tell us the specials or ask us if we... were celebrating anything special like she did with the other tables Our food was cold, it's hard to eat a cold baked potato. Iordered desert to go and it was placed in the container upside down . Read more

Absolutely delicious food. Very welcoming atmosphere. Prices were on average for a quality steak restaurant. If you like blue... cheese definitely get it as a topper on your steak. You won't regret it. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. Read more

The food was pretty good. At our table we got the: filet mignon, prime rip and penne San Remo with spinach artichoke dip for an... appetizer. The mashed potatoes were awful. I think maybe they forgot butter and/or ran out of milk/cream so they used water, itwas inedible. The seasonal vegetables were amazing and the meat was pretty good (not great for the price, I've had better forless). The chocolate 'Van Gogh martini' was great, the 'girls night out Cosmo' was good. My main issue was the service,it was soslow! They did seat us early for our reservation (we went early to have drinks at the bar but it was full). while we werewaiting, several passing people greeted us and said someone would be with us in a moment, which was nice. Once we sat down wenever saw our waitress. It took over 10 minutes to just get water. It took another 25 to order our appetizer and get our drinks.Another 40min before we could order only to find out they were out of prime rib and baked potatoes (at only 6pm). Overall wewere there for over 3 hours. Once we got our food we weren't checked on for over 40 minutes, so we couldn't ask for a differentside to replace the nasty mashed potatoes. I get it, she was busy, but they could have told us they couldn't seat us early ifthey were too busy to actually serve us. Definitely not worth the price. It seems like they need better management especiallyfor ordering/preparing how much food should be cooked on a busy Friday night and also a better system for seating. Read more
