Ordered 2 specialty slices from the display. Took my money. I went to the restroom, came out and the slices I ordered weren?t... even put in the oven. So I waited a few more minutes; nothing. So then I asked the person who rang me up to please put theslices on the oven and he seemed like he had other things on his mind. Aside from that, there was another person bagging ordersfrom the kitchen and she looked at me like I was out of line. Finally, the counter person heated my slices and gave them tome. I Made a mistake ordering a 3rd slice, again, took my money and didn?t put the slice in the oven. I waited a couple ofminutes and asked the person to please put my slice in the oven. The other person looked at me and from a distance said ?CAN IHELP YOU?? Very defensive tone. I responded with waiting on my slice. To say the least I must?ve crossed the line because whenmy slice and another slice came out together she cut them and the slice she gave me was half the size of the other slice. I wasgoing to ask for the other slice but why bother. She taught me a lesson. So as far as their high prices, which I understand,their service has gone down hill. Not even a thank you from the help. One of my favorite pizza places around for miles. Can't beat the taste and dough! They treat you right and make the best pizza... in the Charlotte area. Drive out of my way to come here! I don?t know what has happened to this place since I first tried them earlier this year, but this has been the third time I had... to call restaurant after receiving order due to poor quality, and this takes the cake. The topping on this pizza supposed to be?breaded chicken?, but this has to be croutons because they?re so hard. At this point I don?t want no more pizza or anythingfrom here, enough is enough with the credits . I?ve received better quality pizza from Marco?s and after my experience today itjust confirms Village Inn pizza is definitely better trust me I was born & raised in The Bronx. Ordered from here to have a couple pizzas made for a coworkers going away party. I ordered two hours in advance and made sure to... set arrival time early to have time to set up the pizza for everyone's lunch break. When it came time for my pizza to come Ihear...nothing. I called back and the pizza was broken and they were refiring a new one so it was going to take an extra 30minutes from original arrival time, which meant that we could not eat it during our lunch break. I would have preferred if theyjust gave us a couple slices or something to have it sent out faster. I also would have liked to be notified ASAP. When theysent out all pizzas, the other pizza originally ordered and the broken pizza they gave us for free are now not fresh aftersitting on top of the pizza oven for so long. To be nice, they did give us the broken pizza free of charge but that was mostlynot used since I ordered the proper amount anyways and now we had to find a way to dispose the remains of this extremely largepizza. We also asked the pizzas to be double cut, none were double cut. I also asked the driver to call as soon as they arrived.he just left it out on an outside rack. I think he was about to drive away but then saw us approach the pizzas and came in toapologize, which I appreciated.
