Tried this place for the first time. Wait was supposed to be about 30 minutes for 2 people on a saturday night. Got in after 15... minutes instead. Seems very kid friendly but also serves beer. Got the chicken parmesan, mozzarella sticks, and fettucinealfredo. The mozzarella sticks were great, lasagna was amazing, the chicken parmesan was alright, however the fettucine alfredotasted dry and the sauce tasted watered down. I was also served with dirty silverware and there were a lot of flies which killedmy appetite. I got a refund for my fettucine alfredo since I didnt like it and the service was good. My boyfriend had a greattime but I didn't have the best experience. I might eventually give this place a 2nd shot but I'm a little disappointed. Read more
Really enjoyed the dinner at Fancesco's. Wonderful service. The server even brought me my own pitcher of water so I wouldn't... run out! The Chicken Parmensan and Veal Cordon Bleu tasted great. I was a little disappointed that the ham was just processedslices, but it still tasted good. The salads were great, with plenty of dressing on the side. The best part was the cheesebread. Fantastic! Worth a repeat visit! Read more
They have the best lasagna! *chef kiss emoji* The sauce is more orange in color because it's filled with delicious cheese and... the savory flavor of the ground pork, or sausage, it's made with. The noodles are perfectly aldente! (So many places the noodlesare overcooked.) Their garlic bread is delicious. And as soon as you sit down they greet you with complimentary hot cheesybread. Nice frendly service too. Their side salads are pretty big and the ranch dressing is on point. I just tried theirminestrone soup and loved it. One time I got something other than lasagna and I didn't like it as much. Read more
First off, it's worth it to go here just for the complimentary garlic cheese bread. So so SO good. Other than that, I'd... recommend you stick to the non-spaghetti based dishes. Fettuccine: tasty. Stuffed pastas like ravioli or tortellini: great.Spaghetti based plates: overcooked and a tad mushy. I suspect they go through a lot of spaghetti noodles so they likely cook itin big batches that then sit in water until served because I've experienced this multiple times here. My theory is that theother non-spaghetti based dishes aren't made in such big batches, or are even cooked fresh to order because they are usuallyquite good. Or maybe they are just thicker, more robust pastas that are less susceptible to overcooking. In any case, the saucesare rich, buttery, and flavorful, and on anything other than their spaghetti noodles, you'll have a great time and good food onthe cheap in a dimly lit rustic Italian atmosphere, and you'll be ordering a second or third round of garlic cheese bread. We were very pleased with our experience. After we were seated, our server greeted us warmly, leaving a plate of garlic cheese... sticks. A marvelous treat. They had a nice garlicky, salty taste with the perfect elasticity you might expect from very goodpizza bread. We ordered Italian nachos, fettuccini with clam sauce, and stuffed lasagna. I chose the minestrone and my diningpartner had the French onion. Both were detectible. Our entrees came with garlic bread, which was very good as well. TheItalian nachos did not disappoint. Light flour chips covered in lots of mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni. These were seriouslydelightful. The creamy clam sauce was impressive. It carried a wonderfully pleasant clam flavor throughout the dish. The clamswere perfectly cooked and tender. The lasagna was a cheesy, meaty explosion of flavor. Strings of melted cheese stretched fromthe dish with every forkful. The tomato sauce complimented the cheese and sausage well. Read more
My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out while we were in Salt Lake City for a concert recently. We got there a bit... before noon and got right in to our table. The waitress that served us was SO sweet! Just a wonderful lady all around! The foodwas awesome, I was very impressed with their minestrone. We ordered some of their Italian nachos (pictured above) and also gottheir plate with 2 varieties of your choice of pasta. Everything tasted great and the next time we're in Utah, we willdefinitely go back! Read more
