We?re regulars at this place and there?s a reason for that. I have a bad gluten allergy and they?ve always taken care of me when... I?ve asked for things to be without bread. They have always left off the bread or put it on the side when we get breakfast. Whenwe grab dinner, they have fantastic gluten free buns and always separate my sandwich from my kid?s who like their wheat. I?veseen them use separate areas for cooking my food vs the gluten and I appreciate it so much! I don?t know how people can havesuch opposite experiences, they?ve always made things fresh and been outgoing with our odd requests. Read more

Bad experience. They charged me and my friend for drinks even though we didn?t order drinks, we just had water. Then they said ?... we ordered a combo ? and apparently there?s no way to order just a burger and fries. We did not order a combo. Don?t come hereif you don?t want to be overcharged, especially with the prices. Burger was around 7 dollars, and fries with the drink that Ididn?t order was another 4. More expensive than normal fast food places and I wouldn?t even say it was delicious. Read more

Used to love Apollo but I've never had a good experience at this location. Since June I've seen a sign saying they are low... staffed and I guess I can see why. They're probably underpaid considering how none of the workers care and many of them havetrouble understanding the English on their own menu. Can't even get my order read back to me so they always give me the wrongthings. Charge me for sauce and then don't give me any sauce. Maybe the drive through wouldn't be so backed up if people don'thave to wait 20 minutes to get the right order given to them. Prices go up but there's no improvement on quality or service.Worst place to spend $30 getting two burger combos that won't be made right. Better service at the apollo down the street andthey make the correct orders. Read more

I brought in a friend that was visiting with me from another state. I told her how good the food was. I ordered two... cheeseburgers onion rings fried mushrooms and two drinks. The hamburgers were pink in the middle and cold. The onion rings werethe nastiest I've ever had there. The fried mushrooms were tasteless. It was very clean and the people were very very nice. ButI won't be eating at Apollo Burger again Read more

Waited in line for 30 minutes behind one car, received cold food, and my medium fry bag had about 10 total fries in it- less... than half the bag could hold. This has happened multiple times recently, and it?s completely ruined Apollo for me- which I havebeen a life-long lover of. I understand mistakes happen sometimes, but this is a repeated action and it?s very disappointingthat the quality Apollo used to offer doesn?t exist anymore. Read more

Wow. Quality has tanked. I'm in from out of town, and they used to have shredded lettuce and fresh food. The beef patty was... dry, like it was a preformed freezer patty from a box. The bun was dry. One of the worst burgers I've had....wasn't worth it. See the photo. Read more

We arrived at 9:40pm and the open sign was off. I went in and asked: are you guys closed? I had to ask 3 times until a person... nodded indicating that it was still open. Almost everything was turned off and everyone made a point of showing displeasure withthe presence of my family. It's absurd to be treated that way, I'm disappointed. When we sat down a guy started cleaning thefloor with a very strong smelling disinfectant, causing us to lose our appetite. When I asked him to wait a little bit, hesmiled mockingly. I will NEVER go on this Apollo - Taylorsville again! I advise everyone to look for another Apollo. Read more

Update (August 10th 2021): Went back to see if anything had changed. The closing time is still set as 11:00 PM, but they lock... their doors at 10:00 PM. No signs or anything indicating a 10:00 PM closing time. I would take away the last star if Icould. Update (July 8th 2021): An issue I have noticed is online they have a closing hour of 11:00 PM. No where in the store dothey have a lobby closing time so one would assuming 11:00 PM is that closing time. They however lock the doors well beforethat. I was still inside at 10:30 when they started turning off the lights to get me to leave. As I went for the doors on theside of the building my car was at, they told me to leave on the opposite side of the building and walk all the way aroundbecause they had already locked those doors. They lose two more stars for that. They need to post a lobby closing time if theywant people out well before they leave, seeing as they still have drive through until 11:00 PM. Also locking people in andmaking them walk all the way around the building is pretty ridiculous seeing as the only exit they leave open puts people in theway of cars in the drive through. I have come here often but I don't think I will return anytime soon. (previous review) I camehere multiple times for a few weeks before I wrote this review. I have read other reviews and I wanted to see what was and whatwasn't true. What I found is that there isn't much to fault in this Apollo Burger. There is wheelchair accessibility, it's veryclean, more so than other fast food places like the big franchises (McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, etc.). The atmosphere isnice. The lobby is big with lots of seating and tables. High seating for children is also available. The place was remodeled nottoo long ago, so chairs and tables are still in great condition and looking relatively new. A much different aesthetic than someolder Apollo Burgers. The light wooden tables and seating are more modern. General lighting is decent w Read more
