A pleasant BBQ restaurant with great lunch specials. Shredded pork was moist and flavorful. Would recommend trying the brisket.... Plates are a bit small (I had literally 3 hush puppies for a side). If you are a fan of BBQ I would definitely give this place atry. Read more

My Family and I came here for the first time last evening for supper. This restaurant is advertised on my Facebook a lot and my... Husband is always told how great the food is. We all ordered the Ribs and OMG literally the BEST ribs we ever had!!! So muchmeat, fall off the bone, juicy, flavorful, and mouth watering! We didn't need any sauce because it was so flavorful. We willdefinitely return! Best ribs ever! Read more

It's one of the better bbq places that I've had in the area. Is it perfect, no. but it is good enough. I've only been here once... but I will stop by more often when in the area to determine the consistency in their bbq. Service is great though. The brisketlooked alot better than the ribs. The ribs didn't have the bark or color that I expected but it definitely had flavor. The twosauces that I've tried were really good. I was impressed with the sweet and spicy sauce. But Imo, I felt like the meats wereoversmoked/overcooked . So, if you like super tender bbq that you don't have to chew then this is the place for you. Service =5/5 Bbq = 4/5 Sides = 5/5 Prices = 5/5 (fair for bbq restaurant) Read more

We walked in to the restaurant and waited to be seated. The restaurant what all I could see was spotless. The floor did not have... trash on it or spills of any kind. The staff is really nice to talk to. You order from a menu for eat in and the restaurant hasa take out menu as well. You can smell the BBQ and apple smell in the air. They have sandwiches and the sides are soldseparately for S3.50/side if you are not buying a entire meal. People can order meals that feed between 6-8 people if they'rehaving a event. Now this restaurant has outdoor seating as well. This place is located next to hwy 16 and you can't miss it.They're only open Thursday - Saturday 11AM-8PM. only. They have children meals too. This was my first time eating at Apple Cityin Taylorsville, NC and my husband and I will come back again most definitely. The outside of the restaurant is clean too.Everything is put up in it's place. Read more

Has a weird Texas theme which may make you think you're in the wrong place, but the bbq is traditional NC. They offer a variety... of sauces, a few NC style, plus a spicy and a SC mustard sauce. I really liked their potato salad Read more

Don't come here for the BBQ, you'll be disappointed! But the fries are delicious! Seriously though, we paid $65 plus tip for... pulled pork that had no flavor at all, ribs that had no smoke flavor (probably cooked in the oven) and were too dry, and thebrisket had this funky electrical burn taste. The hush puppies were dry as heck. The "street tacos" were just the flavorlesspulled pork with some Pico de Gallo thrown on. The inside of the restaurant was cute and the staff were friendly, but we willdefinitely not be coming here again! Read more

Don?t walk, run to Apple City BBQ. We?ve been here several times now and it has been a wonderful experience each time. The food... is incredibly flavorful, the staff is sweet, and the facilities are clean. I?m not sure what the people who left one starreviews are talking about, but I don?t think they went to the same restaurant I?m at! This is my favorite bbq joint in thesurrounding area...we drive two hours just to get here! ?????????? Read more
