I was soooo happy to see GF biscuits on the menu!! Thank you!! I enjoyed my ham and egg/cheese sandwich although the ham was a... little dry. Good Appalachian coffee! Loved the fried bologna!! Husband enjoyed his Maverick Cajun sausage shrimp and grits cakewith biscuit. Definitely will be back and maybe give 5 stars next time! Read more

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast and I got the grits. My only complaint was that it needed salt the grits were bland,... but overall I enjoyed the bowl. The biscuits were on point and I absolutely loved them. The staff was friendly and helpful, andthe place was definitely very popular, we had to wait for seats. Drive thru service was friendly and fast! The biscuit freshly made with thick slices of bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese... was delicious! I tried the Jalapeno cheese grits and they were yummy, not too hot. They are also offering lunch selections inaddition to the breakfast/brunch choices. Will definitely return! Oh my goodness this place is pretty great! So glad that something delicious has landed in that pre-existing building. The... cat-head size biscuits are A+ grandmother quality and the the creative options for enjoying them will leave you wanting to comeback soon. Our favorites were the cinnamon roll type biscuit, the donut holes (like beignets), the loaded grits bowl, and eventhe burger was great. The coffee is on point as well. The kids approved of the food and are begging to go back. This placeeasily beats out the other downtown biscuit places, which shall not be named, The generous staff went out of their way to takecare of us. Read more
The best biscuit that has ever touched my lips! Wow, the biscuits here are incredible! I had been visiting another biscuit... place and decided to stop in here because it's closer. I had the biscuits and gravy. Was a little worried at first because youcould see the grease from the sausage sitting atop of the gravy, but it turned out great. The biscuit is so soft and justheavenly. It's seriously the best I've had. Be prepared to wait in line for a bit because they were constantly busy. In fact,that's my only complaint is that the building is too small and it easily gets congested. A second cashier would have helped theline move along. Ten out of ten! Will recommend to anyone they have great fresh mimosa's. Bottomless mimosas are only 15. The biscuits are huge!... The biscuit combinations are very creative and filling. I'm in love with Maverick Biscuit... This was a good review until theycut us off after three mimosas claiming that we have have too many. There is a picture of the mimosas below.
