We were pleasantly surprised. We have been wanting to try this place for quite some time but weren't quite sure if it would be... good. We went on a Saturday afternoon after the standard lunch hour. Because we were off our the place was empty. But I must saythat the service was great and our waiter paid appropriate attention to us and he was very pleasant. They were able toaccommodate special requests. He was able to help out on food choices in recommendations. Food came out in a timely manner andwas hot. We would certainly give them another try. I would say that the one negative was that they should move the cleaning cartstation area because it's right in the middle of the restaurant where you walk past it and see all discarded food and plates andstuff like that. That should be not only hidden behind something else or move to a different section of the restaurant, but itshould be taken back to the kitchen to be cleaned and not left out where people walk by it. Next to that also was a table with afew cleaning supplies and such and to me that should all be in the background but except for that minor easy fix it was wellworth the visit. Read more
Love the fajitas trio for two! So worth the price and after 3pm margaritas 2x1. Service could be a little better. Restaurant is... clean. Some booth are really tight to sit in them. Wednesday they have a balloon Artist for kids. Overall I?m a repeatingcustomer so 5 stars! Read more
It wasn't too bad a place to eat. It was crowded so the service was slow, understandably. My friends & family liked their... food. I found the chicken in my Tamales was rather dry even though there were roja salsa & salsa Verde. I was somewhatdisappointed. Read more
Queso of confusion: Transformation Edition! I would have given this place a 5 star. I ordered the carne asada and the tamales... platter. The queso blano for the tamales meal looked suspect and was yellow hmmmmm. So??I decided to call the restaurantthinking it was a mistake. I spoke with the manager and she stated that due to ?high?temperature and the jalapeños in the quesoblano it made the cheese turn yellow. ?Ok? I have never heard of that before. This place had some of the best Mexican food I ever had. It took a little time to get the food because of the same issues other... restaurants are having, short on help, but it was well worth the wait. After reading other reviews we were a little skeptical of eating here. Glad we decided to try them for ourselves! The food was... fantastic! Our server Jada was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and kept our drinks full! We happened to comeon a p night that Karina the balloon artist was there and our kids loved that! Good atmosphere, friendly staff, & most importantly great food. Thank you Salsa staff for a pleasant dinner. 08/24/2021 went... for a second time. Down to three star. Ordered chili relleno, was definitely a heated up frozen dinner. Beans came out crustedas if under a heat lamp to long. Our waitress was something you might expect at a strip joint. Read more
Both the cuisine and the tamarindo margarita were excellent! (if you prefer a more sour flavor for the margarita. If not the... house margarita is excellent too!) Excellent staff and service. The Mexican food here is wonderful. Everyone was courteous.Definitely would suggest to everyone. The background Spanish music was fantastic. The meals came in a timely manner as well.
