Great for inexpensive skewers and delicious appetizers. Highly recommend the crab and arugula salad.

We ordered 2 sashimis, crispy rice and 3 rolls. The last roll that got to the table had a BUG in it. The moment we saw that,... they took the meal away and we stopped eating the rest of the food. The only food we ate was up to that point. The waiter tookoff the roll from our order, we asked them to compensate us more as we were hungry but did not want to eat the rest of the foodbecause we were grossed out. The waiter said he cannot give us any discount and that he doesn't care if we leave a bad review. Food was bad and service was horrible. Read more

What can easily be considered one of the best sushi restaurants in the valley, Kushiyu always delivers when it comes to quality... sushi. Not much to say besides you will get high quality sushi and rolls from amazing chefs. The food is truly delicious.Service is usually spot on but the big issue is nights and weekends can easily get busy. The shiitake mushroom is also a mustif you are a fan of mushrooms. Overall, one of my favorite sushi restaurants. Read more

The food and service are always amazing and the outdoor dining experience now is lovely. The decor makes you feel like you are... sitting in a beautiful patio, not a parking lot. Read more

The Mrs. used to live here for 5 years, this was one of her most favored restaurant. Now 10 years later, we are visiting... together LA and she was excited to take me there. Sat on the bar and enjoyed a very good sushi. The Sea Bass barbecue wasamazing! Dipped in a special sauce, the fish has an amazing fresh taste. We also had an excellent entree of salmon tower. A dishname rice cake was pretty good and the lemon roll was okay. Also ordered a mushroom soup that was too salty to my taste, toodominant soy taste. For the prices, was a bit over priced (over 100$ for 4 shared dishes). Read more
