Love this place! The food always taste fresh and the staff is so friendly. I usually pick it up to go, however I recently dined... in with a friend and it was a great experience. We wanted to try the cabbage soup, but they ran out. The waitress was so sweetand gave us a little sample taste of what was left. It was really good, but between the two my favorite is the Yankee beansoup. I saw on another review and I didn't know that they have Thai coconut chicken soup. I can't wait to try it! Read more
Mediterranean chicken wrap was the best I've ever tasted! Why didn't I visit this lovely place sooner?
I can't believe it took me this long to try the Yankee bean. I've wanted to since it opened and finally made it. They knocked... it out of the park in terms of quality and inventiveness of their soups and sandwiches. I started with a Thai coconut chickensoup that was phenomenal. Even the super quality oyster crackers they served with it were a cut above the usual ones. Ifollowed up with a curried chicken salad on pumpernickel that was perfectly seasoned, lots of chicken and such fresh bread. Andthe hibiscus tea they make in house is the perfect refreshing drink to round out any lunch. My friend Cory loved her sandwichand soup as well. Cozy dining room, friendly service and lots of yummy and creative options. Definitely worth stopping inanytime you're in Tarpon for lunch. Love the homemade soups, they have at least 5 soups to choose from. Then they have a meriote of sandwiches and Salads to... complete your meal, oh let's not forget at least two homemade deserts to choose from on a daily basis.
